Ally Invest is a trading platform that allows you to buy and sell stocks, options, bonds, ETFs and mutual funds. If you want to close your account with Ally Invest, you will need to follow these instructions.
You'll need to go to their website to close your account with Ally Invest. From there, click on the Help and Support icon in the upper right-hand corner of your screen. This will open a drop-down menu where you can choose from several options.
You will get a prompt to provide your login information and confirm your email address if you have not already done so. It's better to set up a transfer before doing so to ensure you don't lose any funds while closing your account with Ally Invest.
Select Close My Account from the list and follow the instructions on-screen.
Ally Invest will redirect you to a page outlining the steps in closing your account. The first step is to log in and confirm that you want to close your account.
You may also have the option to download your historical trading data, which Ally Invest recommends if you plan on moving elsewhere or continuing investing with Ally Invest through another service.
When you try to log in, you should see a popup window that asks you to log in with your username and password. If you have forgotten your username or password, click on Forgot My Username or Forgot My Password.

GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
After helping consumers for 10 years, we realized that you need an impartial, live person you can talk to about comparing the various TV, cable, Internet and phone plans in your area- somebody who can compare the best deals across telecom providers. So we created a free concierge service you can call at the phone number below.
