Can I transfer my Rapid Rewards points to someone else?

Asked 6 months ago
No, Rapid Rewards points are non-transferable and can only be used by the account holder. However, Southwest Airlines does offer a Family Pooling feature, which allows Rapid Rewards members to effortlessly share points with up to 10 family members. This feature enables families or close friends to combine their Rapid Rewards points towards earning and redeeming rewards faster. Family Pooling enables greater flexibility and convenience when planning trips or redeeming rewards collectively. To participate in Family Pooling, members can create a group and designate a head of the household. Rapid Rewards points earned then go into the head's account and can be used for booking flights, hotel stays, car rentals, and more. This feature serves as an effective way to maximize the benefits of Rapid Rewards points within a limited circle.
