I accidentally cut up my card that I thought was expired; turns out it wasn't. When I requested a replacement because I didn't get a new one, my paycheck and stimulus were supposed to be on that card. After calling them, they asked me to update my account. However, they ended up rejecting my paycheck and sending back some of my stimulus to the IRS. I had already spent a portion online because I still had my information. I am now confused about how they can send back part of the stimulus money. Despite this, I have not received my paycheck or any stimulus information after two weeks, especially during the pandemic. This has caused me significant financial issues, including the risk of my power being shut off and missing car payments, leading to extra fees. It would have been simpler if they just issued me a new card. I advise against using this company due to their lack of customer service and how they mishandled my situation. I still have not had any resolution and feel taken advantage of.

I mistakenly misspelled the answer to one of my security questions on my account. The incorrect spelling caused my account to be locked, even though the correct answer should have been "osteopathic" as that was the hospital of my birth. There is over $[redacted] held in the account, but I am unable to access it due to this error. I have been informed that to regain access to my funds, I need to verify my identity. Unfortunately, I am struggling to do so since I lost my wallet, containing all my personal information, and I cannot receive a replacement debit card until this issue is resolved. I called to check my balance and accidentally pressed the keypad on my smartphone, which immediately canceled my card that I had been using without any problems. I explained the issue to the representative, but she was unhelpful. These Account Now representatives are never any help. They have canceled my cards before, creating inconvenience for me. I have a card that needs to be reopened, not replaced. The replacement is costing me an additional $35 that I don't have, and it's not going to arrive in time. This company has been a hindrance in my life with threats from the representatives about future funds. The representative at AccountNow.com mentioned that the future funding will be returned to the sender, along with unbelievable and unnecessary fees that I have been charged. Mistakes and overcharges have left me homeless. This bank account is not good at all.

I am attempting to set up an online account to access my card and review my charges. However, I encountered an issue when trying to link my account by entering the 3 numbers on the back of the card. The website would not allow me to proceed, so I refreshed the page. Now, every time I attempt to sign in, it repeatedly asks for the same information without allowing me access to my account. This is frustrating because I just wanted to view my account in the first place. Despite spending a significant amount of time setting up the account, I am unable to complete the initial task. I am unable to reach anyone for assistance, and this situation is very frustrating.

I have a monthly check that was supposed to be deposited on March 26th, but it hasn't been released yet. I have been a customer since [redacted], and my VA benefit check is typically deposited to my account a few days ahead of time. I contacted the VA Benefit department, and they confirmed that the check was direct deposited this morning. However, when I checked my account, the deposit was not there, and the automated system does not show any pending deposits. Although on March 26th, it was showing a pending deposit, but it never arrived. I have been calling multiple times a day since then, but now the system shows no pending deposit. The VA Affairs Benefit department assured me it was deposited this morning, April 1st, [redacted]. This delay has caused issues with my bills, and despite trying all available numbers online, I can't reach a live person to resolve this. Please assist me in getting this issue resolved promptly.

I am unable to access my online account login for almost a month now. A service representative froze my account due to an expired card in February [redacted]. They sent a replacement card to my old address, but I no longer reside there. Despite uploading the required documents multiple times through the document uploader tool, I have received no response from Account Now. I have called daily for a month but have not received assistance. I was offered expedited replacement card options after submitting the documents, which was supposed to take 5 to 10 business days, but it's been a month. I urgently need to access my account online to manage my funds, even if I address the replacement card later. This situation is becoming critical for my livelihood, and I seek immediate resolution to access my funds.

I attempted to transfer funds from my AccountNow card to a Netspend card using MoneyGram, but the transaction was declined and then canceled. Despite this, the pending amount of $[redacted].99 from April 8, [redacted], needs to be resolved as it is now May. I am facing late fees and eviction due to this issue. AccountNow requires MoneyGram to fax information, but MoneyGram states they do not fax and only provided an email of the canceled transaction. I attempted to fax the document to AccountNow, but I have not received a response. I am confused as to why my funds are still pending after a declined and canceled transaction. The pending transaction is set to expire on May 15, [redacted]. I urgently need access to my funds to avoid further financial consequences.

I am frustrated with AccountNow. They are saying I cannot access my $[redacted].99 due to a pending cancelled transaction. The money should not have been held as the transaction was declined and cancelled. Additionally, I had sufficient funds in my AccountNow account for the transfer. This transfer was from one of my cards to another. This situation is unacceptable especially since I am facing eviction and have children to care for. I feel compelled to seek legal advice as this situation is unfair. I regret relying on AccountNow and wish I had switched to a different provider sooner. How can I resolve this issue?

Around March 26, [redacted], I was concerned my debit card ending in [redacted] might have been compromised, so I canceled it and requested a new one. Despite waiting for weeks, I didn't receive the new card until May 1st. I changed my PIN from [redacted] to [redacted] but then forgot it after using the card at an ATM in Mukwonago, WI. My phone number was suspended due to payment issues, but I got it reactivated when I paid around $27. I currently have a Gold account that has been locked due to a rejected deposit. The deposit was legitimate, but my funds are now inaccessible. I submitted the necessary documents as requested, but it has been over five business days since then. I sent my Power of Attorney documents via fax to the number provided by an Account Now representative. I followed up on the fax with a receipt from the UPS store, confirming that it was sent successfully. However, when I contacted Account Now, two representatives claimed they never received the fax. This issue occurred previously when I needed access to my husband's account to pay his bills. I had to have an administrator from his nursing home call Account Now to grant me access for bill payments. I suspect fraudulent activity with this company. I plan to report this to Social Security, as they deposit payments into the Account Now account.

Despite my attempts to upload my Power of Attorney (POA) document on the website, I have faced challenges doing so, leading me to email it directly. I have taken over managing my husband's finances with his authorization due to his inability to do so. When I inquired about adding my name to the account for management purposes, Account Now not only failed to do so promptly but also placed restrictions on the card, preventing essential bill payments. These limitations have caused significant distress as I am unable to meet crucial financial obligations, such as my husband's rent payment at the nursing facility. I have previously raised this issue with the BBB and find the customer service staff to be unhelpful and repetitive. Their actions are jeopardizing my husband's sole source of income from Social Security. I contacted your customer service department over a week ago regarding my new unexpired card that still has not arrived, despite your policy stating it should be sent out 30 days before the expiration date. I am unable to access my funds in this account, and I would appreciate the option to transfer the money to another debit card, instead of being restricted to using MoneyGram. If I do not receive access to my money promptly, I will have no choice but to close this account and transfer my remaining funds elsewhere, which will involve the inconvenience of redirecting bills and direct deposits. Someone used my card number to drain my account. I reported it, got my card canceled, and tried to review the unauthorized transactions. However, I can only see purchases from December 1st to December 6th, not from November. I need to check November to identify the fraudulent charges and dispute them. When I log in, it only displays the new card account I haven't received and doesn't allow me to view the previous card account transactions.

I have submitted numerous documents to unfreeze my account, including a United States Treasury Check, Real ID, paystub, Department of Veterans Affairs mail, Department of Defense Verification of Service, Insurance Verification from The Department of Veterans Affairs, and letters from the Department of Motor Vehicles. Despite this, my account remains frozen, preventing me from accessing online features or changing my address for expedited debit card delivery. Every time I contact customer service, I am informed it will take up to three days to verify the information provided. Meanwhile, the $[redacted] deposit made on June 2, crucial for rent and food expenses, is being held. I am repeatedly asked for additional documents, such as a utility bill or insurance policy, which I cannot provide as everything is in my husband's name. I am incredibly frustrated as I do not have these documents readily available. I inquired about the Corporate Headquarters number, but was informed none exists. This ongoing verification process is causing distress as I rely on this money for survival as a disabled Veteran.

I recently reported a theft of my card and requested a replacement from the company. Since April 1, [redacted], they have been holding $[redacted].00 of mine. I complied with their request to send a fax to their fax number, including a copy of my Kansas state ID, SSN, proof of address, and a bill in my name. For four months, I sent a fax of my ID to them every day of the week as requested. However, they claimed not to have received it each time I called back. They even blocked my online account, preventing me from checking if the money is still there. I was informed that if the account remained inactive for a month, the money would be returned to the SSA. They are still holding my SSI check from April [redacted] despite my repeated calls, emails, and faxes providing all the requested documents. This situation caused me to be evicted and become homeless with my son. I am struggling to catch up on bills. It is unfair to treat someone living paycheck to paycheck like this. I have been receiving my SSI benefits on my Visa card for the past 10 years. However, in September [redacted], the card was reported lost or stolen. I requested a new card to be expedited to my address, where I have been living for the last decade, but it never arrived. Upon contacting customer service, they informed me that my SSI funds will now be sent by mail after I upload my ID and proof of address. This process has been ongoing daily for a month with varying responses each time I call - from successful uploads to delays in processing either the ID or utility bill. I have followed their instructions every day without success.
