I recently received my CareCredit account statement and noticed a late charge. The payment was due on a Saturday, 12-12-20. Although I scheduled the payment for Monday, the 14th using my bank's Bill Pay service, I understand now that this resulted in a late fee. I have always maintained an excellent credit score ([redacted]+), and this is the first instance of a late payment with CareCredit. I acknowledge my misunderstanding and kindly request the $29 late fee to be waived given the circumstances. Your understanding and assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I signed up for CareCredit while at the dentist and realized that I made a mistake with my email address, causing me not to receive any bills. The dental procedure is not yet complete, but I am willing to make a full payment once it's done. I seem to have been sent to collections even though I haven't received any bills. I've been attempting to contact customer service to resolve this, but haven't been successful. I am ready to pay in full as soon as I am contacted. Mistakes happen, and I just need assistance in sorting this out. Please reach out to me at [redacted]. Thank you, Rob T.

I raised a dispute as the dental provider did not finish my treatment. The dentist informed me that Care Credit refunded the money. The doctor now requires payment as he used the funds for my treatment. The dental office contacted me two weeks later to continue treatment until the end of April. Dr. L.D. Camacho mentioned that Care Credit refunded the $4,[redacted] paid for my treatment. He insists that I settle the amount as he already spent it on my Invisalign and treatment. I request that Care Credit reimburses Dr. Camacho, and I will repay Care Credit in installments. Kindly make the necessary arrangements. Evelyn A. Care Credit [redacted]

I have been experiencing difficulties with the representatives at Care Credit when reporting my stolen wallet on 4/3 and following up today regarding a replacement. The first representative left me waiting on the call for too long, prompting me to redial. Although the second representative was helpful at first, she directed me to another person for further assistance. Unfortunately, the person I was transferred to was unhelpful and had a dismissive attitude. When explaining my situation, he abruptly accused me of having my phone on mute, despite it not being the case, and then abruptly ended the call after a brief exchange. I am frustrated by the lack of acknowledgement for my responsible usage and payment history on the account, which was co-signed by my father 30 years ago. Despite managing the card independently and making payments, the company still considers my father as the primary account holder. This poses an issue, especially considering my father's age. I have made several attempts to address this matter with no resolution or understanding from the representatives. At this point, I feel compelled to accept the situation as it is. Thank you, Mary.

To whom it may concern, I appreciate your efforts to reach out regarding the ongoing issue with my late father's account. Since his passing, I have found it challenging to address the automatic payments that have become delinquent due to the closure of his bank account. Several months ago, upon contacting a representative, I was informed that as the primary account holder, the outstanding balances are not our responsibility. The representative directed me to initiate disputes with Credit Karma, but unfortunately, I have yet to see any resolution despite contacting them and filing disputes with all three credit bureaus. Despite my attempts to clarify the situation with multiple representatives and seek consistent information, the process seems to be stuck in a loop without progress. At this point, I am in the midst of three disputes, each with a 30-day response time, resulting in ongoing negative impacts on my credit report. I am reaching out for clear guidance on how to resolve this matter promptly. We are willing to cooperate and establish a plan to prevent further damage to my credit while awaiting resolution. If necessary, we can involve our attorney in the process and request contact information for your legal department to provide a comprehensive overview of my father's estate. Thank you for your attention to this matter and for your assistance in finding a resolution. Sincerely, Taryn M. Elkins

Regarding Account Number [redacted][redacted]: I want to inform you that I am dissatisfied with the services provided by Health on Earth Wellness Centers, where I received a treatment plan. The chiropractic manipulations caused severe pain in my hips, making it difficult for me to walk. My orthopedic specialist advised against any further chiropractic treatments. Despite reaching out to Dr. Vaughn multiple times with no response, I even contacted his office through Facebook and left a warning review on Yelp. This situation has been handled poorly by Synchrony Bank, as the balance on my account should be forgiven due to the harmful effects of the treatment plan.

Subject: Payment Declined Issue with CareCredit I encountered an issue with processing my payment to my vet, Fetch Specialists in Bonita Springs, Florida, using CareCredit. Despite my consistent early and above-minimum payments, my recent transaction was inexplicably declined. I've tried contacting CareCredit multiple times at both provided numbers without success. Regrettably, no live chat support is available, leaving me at a loss for how to proceed. Resolution Needed: Kindly approve my payment to Fetch Specialists promptly. Thank you for your urgent attention to this matter. Gail

I raised a second dispute regarding Sandhills Oral Surgery for $4,[redacted]. They refunded $2,[redacted] but kept $1,[redacted]. I agreed to pay $[redacted] for the tooth extraction but nothing for the failed implant. It's unfair for them to retain the remaining $[redacted] when I didn't receive the implant. I shouldn't be charged for any implant-related materials. Since the implant failed and I have left with complications, I don't believe it's justifiable to incur this expense. I feel let down by Dr. Worley and Sand Hills Oral Surgery as they haven't prioritized my well-being. I regret my decision to choose them as my current dental situation has worsened, yet I am being asked to bear a financial loss. This seems unjust from both ethical and moral standpoints. Sincerely, Joely

Hello, my name is Amber Springs. Three years ago, I took out a loan to pay for chiropractic services. After moving back home, the clinic agreed to cover half of the remaining treatment cost, which was confirmed in writing, but unfortunately, I misplaced the document during the move. Now, I am receiving payment notices amounting to $2,[redacted], a sum I cannot afford due to current educational expenses for my online bachelor's degree. I am concerned about the impact on my credit score. If repayment is necessary, I would like to inquire about the possibility of delaying until I graduate in fall [redacted]. Despite these challenges, I hope to find a resolution that does not negatively affect my upcoming wedding and credit status.

Subject: Unauthorized Charges on My Account I need to address unauthorized charges on my account that I did not make. Despite speaking to many customer service representatives about multiple fraudulent charges due to identity theft involving my information such as my license, Social Security card, credit cards, and checks, the promised resolutions have not been carried out. I was assured numerous times that these charges would be rectified, but they persist on my balance. I have escalated the issue to supervisors and managers without success. I urgently need this matter resolved promptly. Thank you, Curran Email from CareCredit on Nov 13, [redacted]: Account Ending in: [redacted] Brian, I received notification of a recent transaction on my account that I did not make. Despite efforts to address the unauthorized transactions with numerous representatives, the issue remains unresolved. Please have a manager contact me at [redacted]. If this matter persists, I will involve my attorney. Thank you.

I noticed a double credit in my account, and they sent a check to cover the amount knowing I didn't have the money to repay them immediately. The vet's office mistakenly credited my account, and intentionally sent me a check with the expectation of repayment and excessive interest charges. I do not believe I should be responsible for paying high interest fees due to their error. This was clearly their mistake, not mine, and it seems like a tactic to profit from high-interest rates. I request the cancellation of the interest charges due to their error. It is unreasonable to expect me to cover these additional costs due to their error in processing.

I requested a dispute form more than three weeks ago and have yet to receive it. I had a distressing experience with Dr. Randall Cislo during an extraction procedure. He unintentionally left material in my gums, causing me intense pain for over three weeks. Despite my repeated calls to address the issue, he did not see me promptly. Eventually, he had to conduct surgery to remove the material he left behind, leading to an arduous and nightmarish experience. Dr. Randall Cislo's lack of expertise became evident during the extraction, resulting in unnecessary suffering. I experienced sleep loss, fever, missed work, and disappointingly, CareCredit sided with him. This situation is unacceptable. - Esther E.

I am writing to express my frustration about CareCredit's recent decision to close my account after 11 years of being a loyal customer. Despite occasionally falling behind, I have always made it a priority to pay off my debts and maintain my credit. It is disheartening to be let go after over a decade of being a responsible customer. Especially now, facing unexpected dental expenses, I was relying on the support that CareCredit has provided me in the past. It is disappointing that the decision seems solely based on a credit report without considering my long-standing history with the company. This abrupt change is concerning as we have faced challenges before, and I have always managed to overcome them without losing your support. I hope we can find a resolution to this issue.

I had a Care Credit account in good standing that I never used because no providers accepted it. Today, when I tried to use it with a provider that did, I found out it had been closed due to inactivity. Customer support mentioned sending a letter in November [redacted], which I never received due to the passing of my mother in April [redacted] and caring for my critically ill grandmother since then. I explained this but was only given the option to reapply with no further information or alternatives. I emphasized that they had my email and phone number for communication and expected important updates that way. Unfortunately, my situation was not considered, leading to frustration, especially when dealing with health issues where the card would greatly help. Reapplying at such a crucial time is challenging, especially after finally finding a provider to work with. It's like standing on the edge of a cliff waiting for a response.

About a year ago, my CareCredit card was stolen, and I had to order a new one. Unfortunately, upon receiving the new card, I encountered issues accessing my online account for statements and payments. I reached out to Synchrony, the bank that manages CareCredit, multiple times without resolution. Recently, when I called again, a representative mentioned I needed to activate the card on a laptop, despite having used it for payments without problems. After activating the card, I discovered I had been charged several late fees of $40 each. This was frustrating because I only received email notifications about payments after they were due, resulting in immediate payments and late fees. Despite addressing this with Synchrony, they agreed to refund only one late fee. I am seeking a reversal of all late fees as it was not my fault that I was uninformed about the card activation requirement causing these issues.

I encountered a problem using my CareCredit card at the veterinarian's office although it showed I had available credit. Even after chatting with a representative and receiving a number to call, the issue persisted when I tried to pay the following day. I was unable to access the CareCredit app and upon checking the website, I discovered my card had been closed without my authorization. Despite explaining the situation to customer service, I was informed that cards can only be reinstated on the same day they are closed. I was neither aware of the closure nor had any outstanding payments. Subsequent attempts to apply for a new card have been unsuccessful. Are there any further steps I can take?

I recently applied for a Care Credit card to assist with my upcoming root canal. Unfortunately, my application (reference # J47W5L) was declined due to identity verification issues. Despite not having a cell phone, I attempted the verification process using my neighbor's phone without success. I used to have a Care Credit account (6[redacted] 2[redacted]) for dental expenses and reside in Liberty Lake, WA. I am open to providing additional details to confirm my identity, as I have a positive credit history with various other credit cards. I appreciate your assistance in securing a Care Credit account. You can reach me at my landline number [redacted] or email me at [redacted] Thank you.

I regret to inform you that I am unable to access my account due to Google discontinuing the Gmail address on file with Care Credit. I have updated my email address to [redacted] and require assistance in having the old address removed from the records to regain access to my account. Despite attempting to contact Customer Service, the only viable solution seems to be through an online request, which has unfortunately been unsuccessful thus far. Please assist me in resolving this issue promptly. Account number: [redacted], SSN last 4 digits: [redacted], birthday: October 6, [redacted]. Thank you for your assistance.

This credit card company has made it nearly impossible to reach them by phone, leading to frustration and excessive interest charges on my account. Despite my efforts to explain the issue and request corrections, the representatives I speak with continuously change their stance and offer no resolution. It is clear they are designed to discourage customers from seeking assistance, ultimately resulting in financial harm through unexpected charges. The lack of clarity and consistency in their communication only adds to the frustration. Moving forward, I plan to limit my use of this card to avoid such difficulties, opting to only utilize it for select promotional purchases. This experience has been deeply disappointing and has tarnished my perception of this company.

I have been charged interest on my principle balance for the past 4 months, despite always paying it off in full, avoiding interest charges. I mistakenly used the card for purchases subject to interest after making promotional purchases. This led them to apply all payments to the promotional purchases instead of the balance incurring interest. Every month, I need to call to ensure payments are applied correctly, but reaching them is nearly impossible due to unresponsive touch-tone or voice prompts. They do not refund the accumulated interest charges when I finally get through after hours. Be cautious using Care Credit for non-promotional purchases, as contacting them is challenging, and they may charge interest unexpectedly.
