I financed a Condo through Wyndham in Hawaii. It took a couple months to get finance arranged on the account. First payment was due in October, ****. I paid the September statement in full in November when I received funds from my bank to consolidate the debt. My bank checked pay off balance and I paid the difference. Because it was late a fee was assessed. I paid this in January but it was late so in February another "LATE FEE" was assessed. At February statement my payment was not showing so thought it would get posted and clear the balance - I was wrong. Now because even though I paid over $**,*** in November to close this out it drug out after the * month time and an interest fee of $***.** has been assessed. This is Usury on a balance of $**.**. The balance was paid and only "FEEs" accessed after the original primary contract. I fulfilled my commitment on the loan and made efforts to pay the fees. I spoke to customer service, a supervisor and a manager and none of them were willing to admit that the only balance on the account is not from the purchase but from your late fees. I not only cancelled this card I also cancelled the Pier One account I had and will never do business with anyone that uses you. I have issued a complaint at Wyndham and will also report this to the BBB as this is unacceptable that the purchase was paid in full and you are still billing me for interest on that original contract.
