I have used my credit card religiously and I truly appreciate the generous line of credit. I tell everyone about Venus Swimwear. I am writing regarding a pressing concern with my credit files with TransUnion, Experian and Equifax that I would like for you to review and consider. I have * (one) late payment from June ****, that I absolutely feel horrible about. I take pride in the fact that all my payments were routinely made in a timely manner. I even have * (two) other accounts with Comenity Bank (Victoria Secret and NY&CO) in which I have never been late. *Unfortunately, in June ****, I was on maternity leave without pay and I tried my best to pay all my bills timely. My Venus account somehow slipped through the cracks and my credit score is suffering for this one untimely mistake. The loss of income, even though it was a short period of time was a brutal eye-opener for me concerning financial responsibility. Since that time, I have learned the essential financial management skills I desperately needed at that point* my payment history from July **** and beyond reflects that. *I am requesting that you please give me a second chance at a positive credit rating by revising the June **** late payment to a positive status.
