I recently requested my credit report and was surprised to find out from Citi Bank that my Home Depot payment was reported as 16 days late. Despite having an excellent credit score, this situation concerned me. The bank had an outdated address on file, which was actually my son's address. He mistakenly listed our entire family as moving to Oak Street. To address this issue, I went to the post office to correct it, as some mail was going to that address. Consequently, I missed the bill from Home Depot for a purchase in Feb. [redacted]. I promptly settled the payment with Citi Bank on 3/30/22 for approximately $[redacted].00. I recently went to the Driver's License Office in Davidson County, Nashville TN to get a new driver's license after moving from Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, I misplaced my Social Security card. The lost card had my previous name Linda Di Tonno, which sometimes serves as proof of my identity. For over twenty years, my Social Security card has reflected my current name, Linda Rita Shifrin. The loss occurred on Thursday, March 31 at 10:30 AM. The following day, I returned to the office to check if the card had been found, but no luck. After contacting the Social Security Office, they recommended reaching out to Equifax. Despite speaking with a representative at Equifax who attempted to assist me in sending my picture and information, I experienced technical issues with my phone connecting to their program.

I completed my homework assignment, but now I need help researching the accounts that need to be reinstated to reflect on my credit history. I faced a challenging time after the economic downturn of 2[redacted], which led me into a deep depression. Prior to this, I was thriving: I bought and lived in my first house at 21, using its equity to pay off all my debts. However, upon examining my recent credit report, I discovered unfamiliar items tarnishing my record. This unauthorized information is hindering my loan eligibility. Subject: Dispute regarding Collection Account Creditor: George Washington University Hospital Account Number: [redacted]92 Date of Service: 11/5/[redacted] Amount: $[redacted].15 I recently found a collection account from Aargon Collection Agency on my credit report. When I received the services, I had both Care First and Medicare insurance, which were supposed to cover the procedure as confirmed by GW University Hospital. The hospital is currently investigating why my insurances did not fully cover the expenses. After contacting Medicare, I discovered that GW Hospital had not billed them. I am reaching out to Equifax to dispute this charge and request that my credit report reflects the ongoing dispute. I have been charged $[redacted].00 for phone consultations that never occurred. The charge is from Dr. Lee Weiss, who abruptly left his practice without properly informing his patients, leaving us in a difficult situation. Despite being his patient for 20 years, I was left to search for information about his whereabouts online. Then, about a year later, I received a bill for teleconsultations that allegedly took place before he left. I made it clear that I never had any teleconsultations with him and always paid my copays for in-person visits upfront. When he departed, the clinic assured me it wouldn't be an issue. I explicitly requested them not to report this to my credit or face legal action. I am currently in the process of taking legal action against them. This is the only outstanding account in collections, making it easy to identify. This accusation is completely unfounded.

I recently discovered that my credit reports have been frozen. While I was able to successfully unfreeze my Transunion and Experian reports over the phone after a lengthy process, I encountered issues with unlocking my Equifax report through their website. Despite following the instructions to click on the lock icon to unlock the report, nothing happened. It was quite frustrating as the site did not provide any feedback or information on what went wrong. I have attempted to contact Equifax multiple times without any success, adding to my frustration.

I am looking to dispute a collection account from Aro Inc. I have made multiple attempts to resolve the issue directly with the company, but have been unsuccessful. Despite my requests for information, Aro Inc. has been unable to provide any details about the debt, instead asking me to investigate on my own. After disputing the account with TransUnion, it was promptly removed. I am now seeking the same result with Equifax. I have consistently asked Aro Inc. to validate the debt before making any payments, but they have failed to provide any information. I am open to settling the debt if they can provide proof of my obligation. I have documentation of the removal from TransUnion if verification is needed. Thank you, D.B. I applied for a car loan in April [redacted], but unfortunately, I was denied due to incorrect information on my credit report. This caused me to lose my job and ultimately my home as I had no means of transportation. I received a letter from the dealership informing me about the denial, but since then, I haven't heard anything further. I would appreciate it if someone could reach out to me regarding this issue. I have been diligently working on improving my credit score, but unfortunately, I am struggling to have my positive payment record recognized. Over the past two years, I have responsibly managed my finances, consistently paying my bills on time and even successfully paid off a loan from LITTLE LAKE LOANS. Despite these efforts, I have faced challenges in obtaining credit due to a lack of established credit history. I have tried to secure loans with lower interest rates to further boost my credit, but have been unsuccessful. Even though I have been diligently repaying my loans, the credit bureaus seem to overlook my responsible financial behavior. It feels disheartening that my consistent efforts are not being reflected in my credit report, especially when I have never missed a payment. Good afternoon, I am reaching out regarding an ongoing issue with my Equifax credit report. Despite contacting Equifax multiple times, I have not been able to resolve the problem. My name is ********, and for the past few months, my credit file has not been accessible. This has significantly impacted important financial transactions, such as trying to secure a home loan and refinancing my vehicle. Multiple attempts to pull my credit report have resulted in a message stating it cannot be found. This situation has caused me to lose out on purchasing a home and a car, and is having a detrimental effect on my life and my ability to care for my children. I have been informed by multiple representatives over the phone that I have provided all required documentation for the removal and blocking of certain accounts and collections from my credit report. A male representative assured me during a call about two weeks ago that all necessary documents were in place. I was advised that if the dispute I filed did not result in the removal and blocking of these accounts from my credit report, I should contact the fraud department after the disputes were resolved. On January 27, [redacted], I spoke with a female representative who issued two confirmation numbers for the removal and blocking of these accounts from my credit report within 72 hours. However, when I called today, January 30th, to inquire about why these items were still appearing, the representative informed me that the previous representatives had not been truthful and that the confirmation numbers were only for removing remarks, not the actual items. I am extremely frustrated and request immediate removal of these items.

I believe my sensitive information might be at risk. I provided my documents to my accountant in South Carolina for tax filing, expecting them to be returned to me by the secretary. However, upon following up, the secretary claimed no knowledge of sending them back to me. Uncertain of the papers' whereabouts, I worry they could be in unauthorized hands. To prevent potential financial problems, my wife and I seek advice on securing our accounts.

I have been notified that there may be an issue of identity theft, with duplicate accounts discovered in my personal financial accounts. The IRS has sent me a 5071C letter indicating a suspicious tax return filed under my name and social security number, prompting them to request identity verification. It's unusual for me to receive a message from the IRS asking for identity verification in relation to a tax return I didn't file. I've never heard of anyone needing to use a credit card to confirm their IRS account to access it online. This situation has me perplexed.

After a car accident last September, my insured vehicle was covered by Allstate and Gap insurance. Allstate settled the claim, but Gap insurance is taking longer to process and send a check to the credit union to cover the negative equity on the lease. Unfortunately, this delay has impacted my credit score, leading me to pay out of pocket multiple times. Seeking to improve my credit, I visited my bank today inquiring about personal loans. A representative recommended contacting a specific service to dispute the damage on my credit report and enhance my score.

I have an old credit card with a $10,[redacted] credit limit and recently obtained a new card from the same company. However, the new card was approved for only a $1,[redacted] limit due to the existing card. I prefer to keep just one card and want to cancel the old one to potentially increase the limit on the new card. The company mentioned that they would consider raising the limit on the new card subject to approval from the credit rating bureau. Before canceling the old card, I aim to assess the likelihood of the rating bureau approving the limit increase on the new card.

I received an alert from Equifax today regarding an inquiry on my credit report. Equifax Alert: Credit Inquiry Equifaxon alerted me on [redacted]/11/27 about a recent credit inquiry or deposit account inquiry. According to the information, CIBC CLIENT ASSESSME accessed my Equifax credit report on [redacted]/11/26, resulting in a new inquiry. It seems that someone created a user profile at CIBC using my name. The information provided was inaccurate, but it included parts of my birthday and my street address. I am concerned that this could be a case of identity theft.
