I previously called to cancel my paid Experian account. I spoke with a representative on March 14, [redacted], and received the following email confirming the change: "David, you now have a free Experian account. You cancelled your paid Experian membership recently, so we are confirming that you’ve successfully been downgraded into a free account." The email listed the account details and informed me of the services available with the free account. However, when I tried to log in, I encountered a message prompting me to update my billing information, mentioning an overdue balance for a premium account. I'm unsure why I'm receiving this message. Dear Experian, I have a query regarding my credit score reports provided by Experian. I paid a $36 application fee and submitted a rental application to Tripalink through AppFolio in Los Angeles. The credit score report from Experian through AppFolio on 04/13/[redacted] indicates I have no credit score. However, Experian's report through Chase shows a credit score of [redacted]. I accessed my Chase account online and verified my credit score through "Credit Journey" on both March 27, [redacted], and April 14, [redacted], which remained at [redacted]. Despite contacting Chase specialists to clarify discrepancies, AppFolio claims no credit score without an active credit card or loan, while Chase believes the score reflects my previous credit activities even if I don't currently reside in the U.S. and my credit card expired. Both AppFolio and Chase use Experian for reporting, but AppFolio reports no score, while Chase deems it as Fair. This issue has hindered my tenant application process.

I could use some assistance. Another individual has provided my cell phone number to a Credit Reporting website, claiming to be Larry. I want to clarify that I am not Larry and have no association with him or any loan applications. This mix-up is becoming incredibly frustrating. I am bombarded with 10-12 unwanted calls or messages daily for the past month, all inquiring about loans for Larry. Just today, I received another message intended for someone named Erin. I urgently need to remove my phone number from the credit reporting site permanently to end this chaotic situation. Could you please advise me on who to contact for help? I attempted to reach out to the fraud department at Experian, but they requested my name, which I cannot provide without Larry's last name. Moreover, they asked for my social security number before allowing me to speak with someone. Your guidance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. I am in the process of applying for a Sam's Mastercard. Unfortunately, I have encountered negative reports regarding my student loans, which were deferred and under Income-Driven Repayment. There have been inaccuracies on my credit reports from Equifax and Transunion, exacerbating the situation. As a disabled individual striving to improve my credit, I received a report from you highlighting incorrect negative entries about my student loan repayments from various loan companies. Unfortunately, the paperwork got damaged when I spilled coffee on it, and due to my recent shoulder surgery, writing or typing is challenging. I seek clarification on when and how these erroneous reports will be rectified. Could you explain if the corrections will reflect solely on your credit report within six months or if they will also be conveyed to my loan servicers, including Navient, AidVantage, and AES? I appreciate any guidance you can provide to help me resolve these issues and, ultimately, achieve approval for the Sam's Mastercard with its 5% cashback on gasoline. I have already submitted this without success. Only Experian among the three credit bureaus has my date of birth incorrect. On Monday, March 17, [redacted], I spoke to a woman named Rachel, who claimed to be a supervisor at Experian's Illinois call center, likely located outside Chicago with a caller ID showing Roselle, Illinois. She blamed me for not knowing and denied the existence of a federal credit bureau, refusing to provide her employee identification or discuss the issue further. Instead of investigating the sudden freeze on my account, she deleted my records and faulted me, potentially harming my credit as I was planning to start my first business. I am seeking to escalate this matter to your superiors and request that the incident be removed from my records along with any negative impacts on my credit score. I'm having trouble accessing my Experian account without paying a $19.99 membership fee, which seems unnecessary to me since the information should be free. It's asking for payment info to update, but I don't have a membership. There's a Discover Card linked that I'm unsure about, possibly an old one as I haven't had it in over 10 years. The helpline is unhelpful, cutting off before I can speak, providing wrong options, and unrelated details causing frustration. Spent over an hour today struggling to reach someone to cancel, review payment details, and understand what's happening. I can't afford a $19.99 fee unless there's a free trial. I'm lost on why I'd be charged with no way to clear it up or cancel due to the access block. Want to improve my credit, not complicate it. When I contacted Experian customer service today at [redacted], I encountered an issue with the automated system that unexpectedly froze my credit. I had initially called to find out if my credit had been frozen two years ago when my wallet was stolen, during which I was focused on protecting my identity and bank cards. It was revealed that my credit had not been frozen back then, but it mysteriously got frozen during today's call while I was seeking a simple answer from the automated service. Following this incident, I was informed that a 6-digit ID code would be sent to me via email, yet I have not received it in my [redacted] inbox or any other email accounts or as a text message. Despite being provided with a confirmation number ([redacted]1) during the automated call, I have made numerous unsuccessful attempts to resolve this through multiple calls to Experian. Every time I managed to connect with an operator and seek help, I ended up being placed on hold and then disconnected. I urgently need the code without having my credit frozen again.

I believe someone is trying to open credit cards in my name. I have recently placed a fraud alert and credit freeze, but I am trying to reach out to the companies where the credit cards were requested. There is a credit card inquiry on my Experian report from THD/CBNA on 5/22/[redacted] that I would like to investigate. I need assistance in identifying this organization and how to contact them to prevent any cards from being issued. Additionally, I would like the unauthorized credit inquiries from May 22nd onwards to be removed as they are negatively impacting my credit score.

Meridian Financial is claiming that I owe Promotera Sunset Beach Club three separate amounts, which total $[redacted], $[redacted], and $[redacted]. I have the original contract, stating that failure to clear any default within 30 days of notice will allow the seller to terminate the agreement and keep all payments made. I struggled to secure a week at Cancun Sunset Club and found it challenging to make exchanges through RCI. Continuing to pay both without benefiting seemed unreasonable, especially considering safety concerns in Cancun in recent years.

I visited your website and followed the instructions to temporarily unfreeze my credit report. It said the process was successful. However, when I tried to access the website again, I couldn't log in. I've been directed to an unhelpful robot each time I called [redacted]. I haven't been able to reach a human being, just a machine saying my account is frozen and providing instructions on sending a letter via mail to unfreeze it temporarily. I am experiencing issues with my online account at Experian linked to Bank of America. I have a checking account and an account with Total Wireless, my phone service provider. There is a problem with Athena Gardens as they did not clean my apartment properly. It had a bad smell, old carpet, and roaches. I am allergic to bugs and had to see a doctor to prove that the bugs caused me harm. The manager was rude and untruthful. I also had an issue with Spanish Trace Apartments where I found snakes, ants, roaches, and stinging scorpions. I gave notice and moved out for my safety before the lease ended. Both apartments are demanding $[redacted] from me, which I believe I don't owe. This situation is impacting my credit score. As a senior citizen, I need assistance with resolving these matters. For the past three days, I've been attempting to reach a live representative without success. Despite prompts for a 6-digit code being sent to my phone, I have never received one. Lacking a PIN, removing the freeze on my account is impossible. While I could request the PIN by mail, this process would be time-consuming. It's urgent that the freeze be lifted promptly. I am experiencing issues logging into my newly created account. Despite entering the correct username and password, the system prompts an error stating they are incorrect. When attempting to reset the password using the "Forgot password" option, I am informed that no accounts were found matching my username. Likewise, when using the "Forgot username" option and providing my date of birth and social security number, an email confirms the correct username but I still cannot log in or reset the password.

I have contacted online support twice and received the same unhelpful response each time. To avoid receiving the same reply again, I will provide specific details regarding an issue with my credit score. My credit score was [redacted] on June 2nd, but on June 16th, I received a notification stating that a FICO® Score could not be generated based on my recent credit history. The suggested explanations in the emails I received were unsatisfactory. One explanation was that there may not be enough information in my credit report for FICO to calculate my score, even though my score was calculated earlier this month. Another suggestion was that no activity had been reported to the bureau in the past 6 months, which I believe is not the case. Also, it was mentioned that having over [redacted] accounts on my credit report could be a reason, but I only have one credit card. Lastly, there was a mention of a creditor reporting me as deceased, but if that were true, they would have canceled my credit card. I need assistance in understanding the root cause of this issue and how it can be resolved.

I have a concern about my disputed charge with Verizon. I previously sent a letter to Verizon disputing a charge but did not receive a satisfactory response. Despite my attempts to resolve the issue, I ended up in collections.
