Earlier today at 10:52 am, I received an email in my Gmail account with the subject line "New Device logged in - Account notification". The email stated that my account was logged in from a new device, an iMacPro in Akron, Ohio. Despite it not being my device, I hesitated to call the provided number due to concerns of a possible scam. I attempted to seek assistance from Gmail/Google by providing the details and questioning the validity of the message. Unfortunately, my efforts to contact them via chat and phone were unsuccessful. I also reported the email as phishing, which resulted in it being moved to spam. However, I have yet to receive confirmation on whether my account was compromised, leaving me anxious. Clarity on this issue is much needed for my peace of mind.

My Google account was hacked while I was playing Ragnarok Mobile. The hacker asked me to click a link for voting and input their number. Consequently, I was logged out of my game, and my Google account password was changed. I tried to recover it, but the phone number and recovery email I had set were already changed. Within 5 minutes, I felt shocked and panicked. Despite trying all the options to reset my password, Google now restricts my access. I am at a loss because the email and phone number associated with my account are no longer mine. I have a lot of valuable information linked to this account, and I can provide more proof to establish ownership. My email is [redacted] I urgently need help to recover my account.

Good afternoon, I am reaching out because I need assistance with recovering my Google account. Unfortunately, my phone was stolen last Thursday night, and the thief has accessed my bank accounts, emails, and social media. They changed the phone number associated with my Gmail, preventing me from receiving the verification code needed to regain access. Recovering my account is crucial as it contains my private information and serves as the primary email for all my apps. It seems the account may have been deleted or locked due to multiple login attempts. I urgently require assistance to unlock it. My date of birth is 04/20/[redacted], and my full name is Idalmis Domínguez. The account I am trying to recover is [redacted] with the previous password "Alvaro64". I would greatly appreciate any help that can be provided. Thank you, Idalmis Dominguez

I am seeking information on the country in which a Gmail email address was created. I am communicating with a Gmail user through Hangouts and want to verify the authenticity of their location to ensure I am not falling victim to a romance scam. I am aware that many scammers originate from the U.S., Western Africa, Russia, or Romania. Knowing the country of origin for the email address would validate their identity. I am not able to directly ask the individual due to current circumstances preventing us from meeting in person. Any guidance on determining the country associated with the email address would be greatly appreciated to prevent potential heartache or deception. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

16 months ago, my ex-fiance, after choosing drugs over our 5-year relationship for the last time, and I parted ways. I was left with ownership of everything as it was in my name. During her time in detox, she encountered an individual who had previously been a leader in cyber security at Lexus Nexis, located just 90 minutes away from me in Alpharetta, GA. Due to losing access to my G-suite and Google accounts during the Covid pandemic, I have struggled to get assistance despite reaching out numerous times via phone and email. Several important items, such as my contacts, emails, documents, photos, and a Google Play account with a decade of history, have been compromised. Despite my efforts to contact the new owner of my old phone number, I haven't been successful. With a total of 4 accounts in question, the recovery process has been challenging. I am currently reaching out to you from a cell phone but will seek your assistance once I have access to a computer. I work closely with troubled youth facing substance abuse issues, and due to the experience I have been through, I may refer many individuals to you for help. Dealing with identity theft and security breaches, including unauthorized credit card charges to Amazon, has greatly impacted me. The lack of support from Google in resolving this matter has been disheartening.

Dear forum members, I recently encountered difficulties while trying to access my Gmail account. I received a message stating that my password was incorrect and that it had been changed, alerting me to a potential issue. A week ago, my Facebook account was hacked, resulting in the alteration of my recovery details. Upon trying to initiate the password recovery process, I realized that I did not recognize the final two digits of the phone number the verification code was sent to, indicating a possible compromise of my account. My name is Michael Haney, and my email is [redacted] Additionally, I have two other Gmail accounts: [redacted] and [redacted] My phone numbers are 1[redacted] and 1([redacted])-[redacted]. While it is conceivable that I made an error in entering my phone number, given the recent issues with my Facebook account, I am concerned about potential security breaches.

Before YouTube was acquired by Google, my Gmail and YouTube accounts were separate. I have been using my old account exclusively for YouTube. Today, I attempted to move the channel to the other account using the feature in settings. The form prompted me if I wanted to delete the old account, to which I agreed. Now, whenever I attempt to access YouTube, I receive the message "This account is not yet eligible to use YouTube." I wish to watch YouTube on our family plan and upload videos.

I've been experiencing an issue with an email address, [redacted], intermittently taking the place of my primary email, [redacted] Specifically, when I provide my email for responses, it seems the mysterious address is showing up instead on the recipient's end. Additionally, it is bouncing back some emails citing an inbox full error. This strange occurrence seems to only happen with select senders. My Gmail account ([redacted]) was hacked on 5/9/21 around 11:00 AM. Despite having 2FA enabled with my phone number and Google Authenticator, the hacker was able to access my account. They changed my password, recovery emails, phone numbers, and even altered the account name to Robert Smith. Now, when I try to use the account recovery form, I face multiple challenges. I enter my email, then have to proceed with "Try another way" for password, Google Authenticator, and verification codes which don't work due to changed information. Eventually, I receive a message stating Google couldn't verify the account as mine. I'm at a loss on how to proceed, as I've searched extensively for solutions with no success. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have been trying for the past 4-5 days to address the issue with our group company account that has been disabled. Unfortunately, we are only receiving generic replies without any resolution. The email id in question is [redacted], which has been disabled. Google claims they cannot verify the ownership of the account, despite being accessed from the usual device, Wi-Fi, and password. They are not providing any further assistance beyond requesting a password, which then leads to unsuccessful verification. We cannot provide the OTP if not prompted. This account is crucial for our company's operations with banks and government agencies. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated, as any prolonged inaccessibility will result in significant losses for us.

The online instructions detailing how to move messages from the inbox to a folder I have created are not functioning correctly. Following the steps to create a filter and move the messages to a designated folder is impossible. There is a lack of a checkbox option to facilitate moving messages. This deficiency makes it unclear how newly arrived emails will be directed to the designated folders. Following my provider's switch from TELUS to GMAIL, I am unable to create folders and automatically move my messages. It is important to communicate that the online instructions provided are ineffective.

I have a Gmail account with two-step verification activated. One day, when I tried to log in, it said my password was incorrect. I attempted to reset my account, but because of the two-step verification, it kept asking for backup codes. When I tried to log in again, it said the verification was sent to my own email which I couldn't access. I don't have any backup codes, but I do have my SIM card where they sent a verification code. Even after entering the verification code sent to my number, it still couldn't verify my account. I'm unsure why it can't verify when I have the registered number and entered the verification code. What can I do to verify my account? I'm the owner of this Gmail account, and I'm feeling very upset.

I am experiencing difficulties connecting my MS Outlook to Gmail to manage my emails efficiently. Initially, my Gmail account was working smoothly with Outlook [redacted] and [redacted] via IMAP, but recently, I keep encountering password prompts, hindering the connection. Despite setting up Gmail for IMAP and allowing less secure apps like Outlook, I am using the Gmail app password, yet the issue persists with the IMAP connection to Outlook. I am seeking assistance as I prefer Outlook for email management. If the problem persists, I may consider switching to a different email provider. I am hoping for a quick resolution to this Gmail matter to continue using my preferred email setup with Outlook.
