I recently received a new card and have been unable to successfully add funds to it, including at Walmart. My request to add cash was declined. I'm also experiencing issues with a separate GreenDot card from Walmart, both cards are under my name and email address. I would appreciate assistance in resolving these card-related issues. Thank you.

On or around May 20, [redacted], I purchased a Green Dot/Walmart card with $20 on it at the store. That same day, my niece put $[redacted] on it at another location. Since then, Walmart/Green Dot has blocked my card for online use. Despite contacting customer service based in the Philippines, submitting all requested information, and filing a complaint with the United States Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, my card remains blocked after over three weeks. I am eager to resolve this promptly, transfer the funds to another card, or cash out and destroy this problematic card. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Communicating with the customer service team, due to their strong accent, has been challenging for both my niece and me. We have made multiple attempts weekly to resolve this issue without success.

I misplaced my Green Dot card linked to my Facebook account where someone sent me money. I have tried calling customer care but it's unsuccessful, and I can't remember my login details for my multiple cards. As the lost card had money, I only recall the last four digits as [redacted]. I am unable to transfer the funds to another card without logging in. I need guidance on my available options to access the funds promptly. Any help providing my login information for that card would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I currently have two Green Dot Bank Wal Mart Money Cards, with one expiring soon and the other being a replacement. I neglected to update my address for the new card and had to reorder it after seeking assistance from customer service. Each card features the same routing number but different account numbers. I rely on direct deposit for my government check each month, which has been effective. The issue I face is that the government uses a routing number from [redacted] on their records, preventing my check from being deposited onto the new card. I kindly request assistance in retrieving the [redacted] routing number from your database to ensure my check can be deposited to the correct account. Thank you for your help. I purchased a Green Dot Visa at Dollar General near my home. However, I am experiencing issues activating it even after multiple attempts. I contacted customer service and was promised a resolution within 2 days, but it has been a week without any progress. I added $20 to the card and needed to use it urgently, but had to rely on a family member's card instead. This experience has been extremely frustrating and I feel taken advantage of by the system's fees and lack of usability. I am a 62-year-old grandmother on disability caring for my great-grandchildren, and every dollar counts for us. I am disappointed with the service and intend to escalate my complaint to the BBB and local media outlets. I request a prompt refund of my $20 to be sent to Virginia Cornelius at [redacted] Pleasant View Rd, Falkville, AL [redacted]. Thank you for addressing this matter within 2 days. Virginia Cornelius.

I have attempted to contact you multiple times without a response. A week ago, I purchased a Green Dot prepaid card from a nearby Dollar General store, loading $20 onto it. I tried to register and activate the card that same day but encountered an error message indicating I had reached my daily limit. Despite trying again every 24 hours, I have been unsuccessful in activating the card. I am a 62-year-old grandmother on disability raising my two great-grandbabies, aged 4 months and 15 months, on a fixed income of $[redacted] per month. Every dollar is crucial for us. I spoke with a representative who assured me the issue would be resolved in two days, but it has been five days with no progress. I feel this situation is taking advantage of vulnerable individuals like myself. I urgently need access to my funds to buy essential items for my family. Please transfer the $20 to my checking account immediately as we are in urgent need. Kindly contact me at [redacted] or [redacted] If I am unavailable, please leave a message. Your prompt assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you. Regards, Virginia Cornelius.

I contacted Green Dot on May 29, [redacted], with two inquiries. Firstly, I asked why my online account is consistently getting locked. Secondly, I inquired about the most recent transaction on my account. Since then, Green Dot has deactivated my card, leaving me with no access to my funds. They mentioned sending a replacement card on May 30th, but as of June 13th, I have not received it. Despite contacting them multiple times, being put on hold for extended periods, speaking with various representatives, no action has been taken. My bills are due today, and I urgently need to access my funds. The new card I activated has no money, unlike my old card with direct deposit where my paycheck goes. I am in desperate need of assistance to resolve this matter by June 13, [redacted].

I made a reservation with my card, which had a $[redacted].00 deposit while the room cost $[redacted].00. Upon arrival, I paid cash for the deposit and the room. Although the funds were released on Friday, Travel Lodge mentioned that my bank should have already returned the money to my account. However, when I spoke with the customer service representative, I was informed that I would have to wait until the 20th of June for a refund. I explained that I had not made a purchase; it was just a temporary hold that was released on the 7th, and I needed my funds back in my account. It's frustrating to have to wait 13 days for my money. Please reach out to me as soon as possible; I've been waiting for someone to contact me since Monday. The number to call is [redacted]. Thank you. - R. Belwood

I have two Green Dot cards, one for direct deposits and the other for transferring funds to prevent overspending. Using the mobile app, I sent money to my email, received a confirmation code, but didn't see the funds on my recipient card. Despite filing a claim, Green Dot denied it without explanation and blocked my calls from my phone. I'm now out $[redacted]. - R.W.

For the past 8 to 10 weeks, since I received my card and started getting direct deposits, I haven't been able to access my funds until several hours later every week. Today, my money was deposited around 5 or 6 am, and it's now 8:42 pm with still no funds available. I haven't received a personalized card, so I can't use the money. Despite numerous calls to customer service to resolve this issue, it seems they failed to inform me about any necessary documentation. Currently, my account is still blocked, and I was told I need to submit a paystub and a photo of my driver's license, and then wait for 2 business days for the account to be unblocked. I urgently need the money to buy food for my family, and the lack of communication from GreenDot's employees has left me in a difficult situation.

I purchased a MoneyPak for $[redacted] to add to my prepaid card. It's not a Green Dot Card but a different one that accepts MoneyPak. When I tried to add the MoneyPak on my Varo card's website, I got redirected to the MoneyPak site. After creating a login, I was unable to log in, and when I tried to reset my password, the reset link didn't work. I've been facing a lot of runaround trying to resolve this issue and can't reach anyone by phone without a Green Dot Card number. I need to contact MoneyPak to figure out how to access my $[redacted] funds.

My boyfriend lost his debit card a couple of weeks ago, and they issued a new one. However, our problem is that we can't access any money from his card. He recently got paid, and we haven't been able to withdraw any funds. We are frustrated because the new card we received yesterday in the mail does not have a CVV code on the back. We are very upset about this mistake because we are unable to access his over $[redacted] that is on the card. We have been waiting for two weeks and still couldn't get his funds. This situation is unfair and we can't live this way without access to our money, causing us a lot of stress. If the issue is not resolved promptly, we may have to take legal action as we are struggling to survive without access to our hard-earned money.

My GoBank green dot bank account got blocked. I contacted them, and they said it was unblocked but needed 24 hours to process. After waiting, I was informed I needed to send documents for verification, with an additional wait of 2 days. The email address provided does not work. I can't locate the correct one! My funds are inaccessible, and I need a quick solution.

I chose Green Dot for a secure and efficient way to receive my pay through direct deposit. However, my first deposit from my employer resulted in Green Dot placing a hold on my account for security reasons. They requested additional identification, and I only have my US passport at the moment. Despite their terms stating they accept US passports as identification, they claimed otherwise. I am currently unable to access my funds, which are crucial for my family. I hope to resolve this matter promptly.

I am currently staying at the Carmel Inn and Suites at [redacted] First Street in Thibodaux, LA [redacted] for two to three nights. The public computer on the first floor seems to have been compromised. I will provide the culprit's name soon. I request that all online activities be stopped, as I did not authorize any, and if there were any unauthorized transactions, it may amount to harassment, embezzlement, and fraud. Please escalate this issue to the fraud department and involve the FBI and local authorities if necessary. Today, I loaded around $[redacted] on my card at Walgreens and used it to pay for my hotel stay, authorizing a $15 payment and a $5 service fee at 9:00 pm on a website named Ascension Parish Jail Commissary Deposit. I am currently dealing with health issues and heading to the ER. Please safeguard my account until this matter is addressed with the authorities. I will contact the bank in an hour to confirm the available balance. For communication, please use my cell at [redacted]`[redacted]. Thank you. - Nicole G. B.

After using an ATM with a skimming device, my account was robbed at two other ATMs, resulting in a loss of $[redacted]. Unfortunately, Green Dot has not been helpful in resolving this issue. Despite my repeated attempts to contact them during a 10-day period, they denied my dispute citing a lack of documentation. They failed to conduct a thorough investigation, and even suggested I gather evidence from the bank myself. After further discussions, they have now resubmitted my dispute, warning that without additional documentation, it may be denied again. I filed a police report and provided the case number to Green Dot, but after 14 days, there is still no resolution in sight, putting me under significant financial strain. The delay has led to eviction proceedings and other bills piling up. I urgently need assistance to expedite the return of my funds. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I purchased a green dot card and used it for a few bills, but now it's locked. When I try to visit the website to input my identification, I can't get past entering the card number. Each time I call for help, I'm informed that my card is invalid. I managed to reach one representative who abruptly ended the call. I'm frustrated as I've been grappling with this for three days. I have $[redacted] to pay bills, but I can't access my funds. If my electricity is shut off because of this, I'll be very upset and will urge others to stop using these cards. I've faced issues with this company before. I believed people used these cards for reliable service, but my experience has been the opposite. My name is Brittany B., aged 23. You can reach me at [redacted] for assistance.

This has been quite challenging. I am frustrated with the service provided by Green Dot. Although the tax filing process was smooth, the transition to their credit services was a nightmare. Registering on their site was a hassle as it wouldn't accept the information requested, such as my birthday. To make matters worse, it wouldn't offer assistance without registration, creating a catch-22 situation. Trying to navigate away from the page was difficult, reminiscent of a virus. The fees and charges they advertise are nothing to be proud of, resembling slum lords of credit. While the promise of a quick payout initially attracted me, the company's shortcomings have pushed me to consider other options. I plan to withdraw all funds once I receive the card. The focus should be on giving back rather than solely on profit. Despite the drastic leap from my original complaint, the bigger picture is about making a positive impact. Have a good day!

I attempted multiple times to load my MoneyPak card but consistently encountered error messages. Subsequently, I was informed that I could not use the card I had already paid for. I have been unable to speak to a customer service representative to address this issue and feel frustrated by the lack of assistance. I am determined to resolve this matter and retrieve the $50 that I loaded onto the card, along with the card's initial cost. I urgently request a refund or a replacement MoneyPak number. This issue has persisted for too long, and I intend to escalate it further by taking action with the appropriate authority if a resolution is not provided promptly. Thank you.

I have contacted Green Dot multiple times in the past 6 months trying to update my account after losing my phone and no longer having access to the initial email linked to my account. Despite providing all the information they requested, I was unable to update my account or access it, leading to it being hacked and my funds being stolen. I now have to wait a week for them to start the process of recovering my now empty account. Each time I attempted to update my account, I was prompted to verify through methods I could no longer access, either via text to my lost phone or to the email I no longer had. Every interaction yielded the same frustrating result, with no assistance from Green Dot. I am in a difficult financial situation now with bills and everyday expenses, feeling outraged by Green Dot's lack of help and protocol for customers facing such issues.
