I dialed the number yesterday seeking assistance with my Green Dot card, and the person assured me they could help. I needed to stop and credit an ongoing charge that I had attempted to do for the past three days. After providing my information, I was instructed to download an app and share the app number. Then, I was directed to input certain letters and numbers in different areas of the app, resulting in the loss of my money. Despite contacting Green Dot and urging them to stop the transaction, they informed me it would be investigated in a few weeks. Frustrated, I closed my card, explaining it was all the money I had, but the response was indifferent. The email, [redacted], from the Green Dot statement is linked to the entity that took my money. I called to dispute four transactions, and the customer service rep said he had canceled my card and would send me a new one. He mentioned I couldn't dispute the charges immediately as they were still pending and advised waiting. Since then, I've been unable to reach a real agent to assist me further. It feels like my account has been deleted, and I cannot access it online. I urgently need to dispute these transactions. It's frustrating and unprofessional how Green Dot has handled this situation. It seems like a scam. My money was stolen, and now I can't even dispute it. This is unacceptable. Please assist me in resolving this promptly. Thank you for your time and understanding.

I recently purchased a card that is not functioning correctly. I have been a long-time user of these cards and have never experienced this before. I bought two identical cards at the same time, one is working fine, but the other is not. The package clearly states that it is reloadable and should be accepted at ATMs, but customer service is claiming otherwise. They are refusing to help me by either fixing the issue or providing a refund. I have evidence, including photos of the package stating its features, yet they are still denying its capabilities. The discrepancies between the two cards, especially when they were purchased together, are frustrating. I rely on this card for my finances, and being told that it cannot be used as intended is unacceptable.

Dear Customer Service, My account was compromised, resulting in two unauthorized transactions of $[redacted].00 each on my card ending in [redacted] with your bank. During a previously recorded call, two of your representatives assured me they would assist me in resolving the matter by initiating a dispute, issuing a new card, and recovering the stolen funds. Unfortunately, I have been unable to reach your company and I am extremely dissatisfied. The funds that were taken belonged to a fundraiser for my son who passed away a month ago. Despite being a customer for over a year, I have not received any follow-up and the money has not been returned. I am considering pursuing legal action if I do not receive a prompt resolution. I have a Green Dot Visa debit card with funds on it intended for my brother in the hospital. Could you please guide me on how to activate it? I received $[redacted] from a friend via Green Dot. I stayed up all night trying to figure out how to transfer it to my Cash App. I searched online for a way to move funds from Green Dot to an external bank, but I fell asleep while looking. When I woke up, I got a text about a theft in the house. I checked and couldn't find my wallet with my ID and social security card. I gathered my things, filed a report, but since they have my information, I'm worried. I hope to get my $[redacted] back. Thank you.

I am experiencing issues with my car due to an online transaction. The card is being declined because of an address error. Despite my attempts to correct it by entering a zero in the second address section, it seems I can't proceed with a P.O. Box. Living in a rural area, this is the only way for me to receive mail. Could you please remove the zero in the second address and leave it as is? If P.O. boxes are not accepted, then just keep the county road address without the zero. This minor adjustment allowed me to activate the card as your website wouldn't let me continue without filling the field. Kindly update my address and activate my card, along with transferring any funds from my other cards to this new one. Deactivate the others if they are empty. The card in question was signed up for just two days ago, with my birthday being November 2, [redacted]. Thank you for your assistance.

I am struggling to load a Money Pak. It seems like I have created an online account but can't remember. I have used various cards over the years. The website guides me through the process of resetting the forgotten password. I provide the only numbers linked to the account. After receiving a text message confirming a password change link has been added to the account with the numbers [redacted], I try to access it. The process sometimes refers to the user ID and other times to the password. I can change the password but unable to log in. Besides my direct deposit, it has been a while since I last used a Money Pak, and I hope I won't encounter any issues.

Hello, my name is Kelly Monson. I am experiencing an issue with Green Dot cards. I have two cards - the first one, a regular type, I added $47 to, activated, set up the account, and generated a PIN for ATM use. The second card I received had a chip and my name on it like the first card. I activated and set up the second card similarly to the first one. I had several claim disputes with Green Dot where they denied me a refund for some but granted it for others. I was arrested on September 23rd and released on the morning of the 26th. Upon release, I noticed my card balance was much lower than expected due to unauthorized transactions between those dates. Green Dot refunded me for some transactions but denied a $[redacted] dispute citing no decline transactions as the reason. The circumstances surrounding my arrest and the loss of my girlfriend, who passed away the day I was arrested, led to my card being used without consent. Despite filing multiple disputes, I'm dissatisfied with the outcome and feel the situation was taken advantage of while I was unable to prevent it. I require further investigation and consideration of these extenuating circumstances to refund all transactions from September 23rd to 26th.

We encountered an issue with an old green dot card while trying to add $[redacted] to make a purchase of essential medication that only accepts card payments. Unfortunately, the card kept declining, leaving us stranded without a way to get home. Despite facing three individuals pressuring us for the money, the store, Dollar General, was unable to process a refund. We strongly believe that if there was an error on their part, they should reimburse the amount. My Greendot account was compromised, and I'm unable to access it as the hacker changed my email and phone number. Despite providing identity verification, Greendot has not been helpful. Due to being deaf, it is challenging to resolve this over the phone using a video relay service. I notified Greendot about the breach, but they have not removed the hacker's contact information despite my attempts to prove my identity. I requested a transfer of funds to my other Greendot account (login: legaczy5, account number: 6[redacted]-[redacted]), but they disconnected the call. I simply want my funds back. I was expecting a deposit of $[redacted].00 from the State of NC yesterday, and I have yet to receive it despite it being sent out last Friday. I've been calling multiple times, but each time I manage to get through, the person on the line goes silent and avoids addressing my concerns. This is incredibly frustrating as I've tried reaching out three times only to be met with hang-ups or silence as soon as I mention my deposit issue. The customer service experience has been terrible. Even my state social worker attempted to help, but to no avail. I've been receiving these deposits monthly without any issues until now. I urgently need assistance with this matter. I recently noticed an unauthorized withdrawal of $98.86 from my account by a company called "Shopper Online The Watch." Despite trying to reach out to them, I discovered there is no valid contact information available. Greendot, whom I contacted, mentioned that I have multiple accounts, which I clarified is incorrect. They informed me that they cannot refund the money without a valid reason for dispute. I am disappointed in this outcome, especially as a long-term customer of Greendot. I am now considering transferring my direct deposit elsewhere and will not recommend Greendot to others. The lack of support in this situation has left me dissatisfied with the company's customer service.

My account on the mobile app got closed after I submitted my verification documents. I need it reopened as soon as possible, as I travel for work across different states and rely on this mobile banking service. I have funds on the card and need to track them, which I can't do without the app. I was informed it would take one to two business days and I would receive a notification, but it's been over four days and I haven't heard anything. I am having trouble with my card as it is not being recognized by the system. It keeps showing an error message saying "unable to verify, please try again." I need this issue resolved quickly as I need the card for work. I do not want to drive back to the store where I bought it. The card should be working as I have already paid for it. I am trying to contact the customer service over the phone or online, but I keep getting disconnected since I don't have the card number. I have updated my account information to reflect my current address at 3 Fir Drive, Rivercrest, Tunkhannock, PA [redacted], with a new phone number, [redacted], and a new email address, [redacted] The account ID is richelem, and the password is Rachet1972. Currently, there is $7,[redacted].24 in the account, unless my recent social security deposit of $[redacted].00 has been included, making it a total of $8,[redacted].24. I am unable to access my account as it is trying to send a verification code to outdated contact information. I have also updated my ID and mailing address with Human Resources over a week ago. Due to personal turmoil, I urgently need a new card sent to my current address as my belongings were destroyed in a recent incident. Hello, Green Dot. I mistakenly locked myself out of my account while trying to activate my new card. Despite my wallet being stolen and my previous cards canceled and reissued, I haven't received the new cards physically. However, there is money on the currently inaccessible account as my direct deposit just came in. To access some funds, I know I can transfer money to another Green Dot card I own. Unfortunately, after trying to log back into my overdrawn account, I kept getting my password wrong and am now locked out before activating the new card. I purchased a Green Dot card from CVS a few months ago, registered it, and unfortunately, it has been stolen. I am unable to cancel it because I do not have the card number handy, and I also forgot my login credentials for the account.
