I have been filing my taxes with H&R Block for the past 5 years without any changes to my personal information. I filed my [redacted] taxes expecting to receive my stimulus payment on my new card. However, I have not received my stimulus payment and the IRS portal "Get My Payment" indicates that my information does not match theirs, providing no details on my payment status. Despite my attempts to contact the IRS via phone, I have been unsuccessful due to high call volumes. I visited an H&R Block office only to be directed to call the same unresponsive number. I have paid $[redacted] annually for tax services and had positive experiences until last year when I experienced issues with the Emerald card. Somebody manipulated my information to redirect my refund to multiple cards, causing significant inconvenience. When I learned that H&R Block changed banks, I hoped for a better experience, only to be disappointed. My money is now missing, and I am distressed by the lack of assistance. I urgently need access to my funds, and I seek resolution from the company I trusted with my finances.

I am having trouble installing your system. I contacted you last Wednesday, January 13, [redacted]. I spoke with a representative for two hours, but they were unable to assist me. I was promised a callback from a higher-level support person within 48 hours, but I have not received any follow-up after [redacted] hours elapsed. I would appreciate guidance on installation, the delivery of an installation disc, or a refund of the $39.99 plus tax I spent on this product from Staples.

I received my new Emerald Card today from an H&R Block store to access my stimulus. Despite following all of H&R Block's instructions, I have had to spend hours speaking with representatives only to be given new steps each time, delaying access to my stimulus. It has been a frustrating experience resembling a scavenger hunt with no end in sight. If only H&R Block had been transparent about the process from the beginning and made it more enjoyable. I have completed the steps for today, endured long wait times, obtained the new card, and now I am at the stage where I need my funds transferred from the old card to the new one. I'm hopeful H&R Block can assist me promptly with this next step.

Since January 5th, I have been trying to obtain a new Emerald card. Initially, I was advised to visit my nearest H&R Block office for a replacement. However, I encountered issues with processing the request as the card was not canceled. After canceling the card and revisiting the office, I still could not receive a new one. Upon contacting customer service, I was informed that the card was being mailed and should arrive within 2 to 3 business days. It is now past the expected arrival date of the 17th, and I have not yet received the card. Strangely, a new card has appeared on my app without my activation. The office representative I interacted with seemed unhelpful and reluctant to assist me with this matter.

I paid for the "Deluxe federal return" service when I filed my taxes for the financial year [redacted] back in March [redacted]. While I can see my total tax refund amount for [redacted], I am unable to find any further details or a download link for my tax return. I need this document, as I have misplaced my copy. I had the program downloaded and had already entered my business return information, waiting for the January 20th update. Today, on January 21st, I attempted to open it but encountered an error message similar to what another customer mentioned. Despite various attempts like uninstalling, reinstalling, and adjusting settings, the program still refuses to open. I reached out to H & R Block three times. The first call had me on hold for 30 minutes before being told I needed to be transferred. After enduring another 50-minute hold, I gave up and tried a different customer support number, only to be directed back to the original line and faced another 30-minute hold. My online attempts to seek help led me to a pay-for-answer program, adding to my frustration. I've invested hours in trying to resolve this issue to no avail. Even contacting the local H & R Block office has yielded no answers. This situation has left me incredibly dissatisfied and frustrated.

Hello, I utilized your online tax preparation software as I have done in previous years. In contrast to previous versions, this year's software lacks the updated Recovery Rebate worksheet. Despite having already completed and electronically submitted my return today, I recently discovered this issue. I am aware that returns will not be processed before Feb. 12th. I am concerned about the potential $[redacted] discrepancy. It is essential to me that this matter be resolved without necessitating the use of the Pro version. How can I confirm that the correct worksheets are in place? I want to ensure my taxes are accurately calculated. I recently purchased the H&R Block Self-Employed / Rental software from OfficeMax. When I attempted to download the software, I encountered issues with installation. Despite multiple attempts and troubleshooting steps like disabling virus protection, the installation continued to stall. Strangely, after a PC reboot, the installation process suddenly worked without any further problems. It's unclear why the issue resolved itself, but I can now access and use the software successfully.

I'm experiencing issues with the Emerald Card service. They originally sent my new card to an old address, but after contacting them, they assured me that a new card was sent to my current address and would arrive by January 19th. Unfortunately, it has not arrived yet. There is $[redacted] loaded onto the card from my paycheck, which mistakenly went to the new card instead of the old one. This situation is becoming increasingly frustrating as I rely on these funds to pay my bills, and I currently have no access to them.

I received an email requesting address verification for the stimulus check by mail, which I did on January 15th. However, there seems to be conflicting information from H&R Block. Their recorded line status and customer support agent over the phone are both indicating that the address needs to be verified to receive the stimulus check. Nevertheless, when I checked online with the security token ID, it shows that the address is already verified. This discrepancy led me to cancel my H&R Block tax appointment scheduled for January 27th. I am unsure whether my address is indeed verified, as indicated online, or not, as per the agents' statements. I am confused about whether I should wait for mail confirmation. Despite verifying my address via email link 11 days ago, I am struggling to get a clear answer regarding the status of the expected check.

I received my stimulus check on my Emerald Card, which I had lost last year. When I went to get a new one, there were delays from the tax professionals. Finally, after three or four days, a new card was issued. Unfortunately, during this time, I accessed the card account online and used the bill pay section to transfer the balance to myself on January 6, [redacted]. The expected date for the payment was January 13, [redacted]. However, as of January 27, I have not received the funds or any updates on the transfer. This situation has caused me stress as I received an eviction notice due to rent payment delays. I need this resolved quickly. I am hoping for a refund of the funds that were withdrawn, according to my account statement, even if it's returned to the same card, so I can transfer them to my new card.

I received my stimulus check on my lost Emerald Card and had to have a new one reissued. Despite this, I managed to access the card online to transfer the balance to myself. The transaction was made on January 6, [redacted], with the payment expected by January 13, [redacted]. However, as of January 27th, I have not received the payment causing immense frustration and financial strain. I urgently need this matter resolved as I have already received an eviction notice and need the funds to secure a new place.

I noticed two significant errors on H&R Block's 1099R form in the deluxe package. The fields should be updated to reflect numbers 14, 15, and 16 instead of 12, 13, and 14. Additionally, box 7 commonly denotes a normal distribution, and when selecting "yes" for the accompanying IRA/SEP/SIMPLE box, the program mistakenly marks it as illegal. These inaccuracies are disappointing from a leading tax service like H&R Block, and it undermines their credibility. Despite reporting these errors at the end of January, corrections are still pending. Unfortunately, there seem to be other minor issues in the program as well. I have been unable to contact H&R Block through phone, chat, or email, so I hope this feedback reaches them for necessary updates.

There are two significant errors in H&R Block's downloaded deluxe package work screens. The fields are incorrectly labeled as buckets **, **, ** when they should be **, **, **. Additionally, placing a * in box seven is a common disbursement code, but the program incorrectly flags it as illegal if the accompanying box "ira*sep*simple" is checked. These mistakes have not been corrected despite being pointed out. H&R Block, as a prominent tax organization, should not have these errors as they undermine confidence. It is frustrating that even by the end of January, no corrections have been made. The program has other minor errors in wording as well. Unfortunately, contacting H&R Block for support is challenging as they do not answer calls, have no chat support, or available email contact.

I bought a Fast Card for $15 to access the software for my basic tax returns. I usually purchase HR Block's CD, but Wal-Mart only had Fast Cards available. The instructions on the card directed me to GetHRBlock.com/CRTC. After scratching off the activation code as instructed, I visited the site, but I did not receive any prompts to download the software. I aim to file standard deductions for [redacted]. The card specifies needing Windows 8.1 or higher; I have 8.0 RAM. Could this be causing the issue with the prompts not appearing during the installation process?

I recently separated from my boyfriend, and we share custody of our two young girls, ages 7 and 5. He always used H&R Block with the same tax preparer for the past 7 years. Struggling as a single parent, I sought an Emerald Advance and went to H&R Block this time. To my surprise, I ended up with the same tax preparer. I claimed both girls for my advance. Later, my ex filed his taxes and also ended up with the same preparer. I discovered that the preparer gave him her personal cell number and had him send her sensitive documents for the girls. I'm concerned about this breach of privacy. Is this acceptable behavior from an H&R Block employee?

I've been a loyal user of H & R Block tax software for numerous years without any issues until now. When I tried to purchase the [redacted] program at Walmart, I discovered that the discs are no longer offered, only a computer download. I bought the program and downloaded it on my iMac, like I have done in previous years. However, after downloading, I couldn't open the program. Can someone help me troubleshoot this problem? This morning (1/31/21), I purchased the H & R Block [redacted] Deluxe + State tax software. Despite the screen showing my credit card was declined, I discovered that the charge had gone through successfully with my Citi Mastercard for $43.04. I made a call to H & R Block at 1-[redacted], where a customer service representative opened a case (#[redacted]5) for me and attempted to transfer me to another representative. Unfortunately, due to high call volume, I was placed on hold and eventually got disconnected after a 10-minute wait. Instead of attempting to reconnect, I am reaching out here in the hopes of finding a resolution. - C.L.

Concerns were encountered after visiting H&R Block at [redacted] W McDowell [redacted] on 2-1-[redacted]. As a Power of Attorney for my son, the tax information including the stimulus payment was e-filed inaccurately. Although I expressed that my son already had bank details, an Emerald Card was mistakenly applied for in Charles E Nealy's name with my driver's license. The request is to have the Emerald Card removed, canceled, and replaced with a check. Despite multiple visits to rectify this, the issue persists.
