We had 16 sailors scheduled to depart on flight JL046 on 15OCT. Unfortunately, they were unable to board due to a pcr issue not clearly stated on their certificates. When they requested a ticket change at the airport, the check-in agent declined because the tickets were issued with Han AIR documents, as JL is not currently represented in Madagascar. Consequently, we are seeking approval for the modification of these post-departure tickets for the 10/10 flight.

Hello, I am inquiring about the refund request for my e-ticket [redacted][redacted] (booking S9VHP8) with Japan Airlines. I had booked four flights: JL-[redacted] and JL-18 for Sep 7, [redacted], and JL-17 for Mar 3, [redacted], and JL-[redacted] for Mar 5, [redacted]. Unfortunately, flight JL-[redacted] on Sep 7 (VVO -- NRT) was canceled, and I was unaware until I reached the airport on Sep 6. I canceled all tickets through Mego Travel after they had difficulty getting a response from Japan Airlines despite my numerous follow-up emails. Hello, I am seeking confirmation about my flight from YVR Vancouver to New Delhi. There is a layover of 19 hours, and the airport changes from Narita to Haneda. I am unsure if I need a visa to change airports and if I will have to transfer my checked luggage. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I am seeking clarification about my ticket purchased through Cheap 0 Air with a credit card. I booked the ticket on Feb 6, [redacted], for a flight scheduled on April 23, [redacted], which got canceled due to the pandemic. Cheap 0 Air offered me a choice between a refund or rebooking; I opted for rebooking. Subsequently, they rescheduled my flight for July 28, [redacted], amidst the ongoing pandemic and lockdown. Recent communication from Cheap 0 Air on 11/22/21 stated that my ticket was canceled due to expiry. Despite being advised to contact JAL for rebooking and being informed of a November 30, [redacted] deadline, I find myself in this predicament. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Good Morning, My name is K.N. Joel. I had a missed return flight on November 27th due to a delayed COVID negative test result in Burkina Faso. The flight itinerary is as follows: - Departure: Ouagadougou, BF to Istanbul, TR - Departure: Istanbul, TR to Frankfurt, DE - Departure: Frankfurt, DE to Tokyo, JP Due to the missed flight, rescheduling with Turkish Airlines from Ouagadougou to Frankfurt is possible, but the challenge lies with Japan Airlines for the final leg to Tokyo. I traveled from San Diego to Tokyo (JL 65) on December 7th with Jakarta, Indonesia as my final destination. I arrived early and was among the first to check in. Despite having a valid PCR test, there was confusion as Japan Airlines staff claimed it was incorrect. After clarifying that a molecular test is the same as a PCR test, I had to correct the test name with my clinic. Subsequently, I was informed I needed a return flight from Indonesia, which was not a requirement. I had to hurriedly book a random flight to comply. This unexpected expense was nearly $[redacted]. I was finally allowed to board after showing the booking number, but the situation was frustrating and cost me both time and money. I was disappointed by the made-up return flight rule and seek compensation for the unnecessary booking. The service during the flight was good, but the check-in experience marred my trip. I hope this matter can be resolved amicably and look forward to your understanding of the situation.

Dear officials of Japan Airlines, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent incident involving misinformation and poor service from Japan Airlines regarding visa exemption for a trip from Chile to Vietnam. On March 19, [redacted], Ms. Marcela Solange Ibarra Rojas, a 34-year-old Chilean citizen with passport number F[redacted]9, was traveling to Hanoi, Vietnam, with layovers in New York, USA, and Narita, Tokyo, Japan. Upon arrival in New York, Ms. Marcela was denied boarding for her onward flight to Narita by Japan Airlines (flight JL [redacted]) due to not having a visa for Vietnam. This led to a distressing and unfair situation for Ms. Marcela, who was ultimately advised by Japan Airlines staff to return to Chile. Additionally, because of the language barrier, effective communication between Ms. Marcela and Japan Airlines officials was challenging. We are seeking resolution for this issue and have contacted the Chilean Embassy in Vietnam for clarification on visa requirements for Chilean citizens. We hope to receive a prompt response from Japan Airlines regarding compensation for the damages incurred, including a refund for the ticket or issuance of a new one for Ms. Marcela’s intended travel to Vietnam. Hello, I am inquiring about my Booking 4EJ44C. I recently made reservations for a round-trip journey to HCMC, Vietnam via Gotogate [Order LEZQM0]. However, Japan Airlines modified my flights, resulting in an unexpected overnight stay in Tokyo where my layover increased from 1 hour to over 24 hours. This change poses a challenge since I have prior commitments in Vietnam on the day of my arrival. Unfortunately, I am unable to cancel or alter these plans as everything has already been arranged. I would like to know if there will be hotel accommodations provided during my overnight stay in Japan. Additionally, I am concerned about the handling of my two checked-in luggages, especially since I sustained an injury three weeks ago and cannot lift anything exceeding 10lbs. This limitation makes it impossible for me to manage luggages weighing over 50lbs (23kgs) on my own. Your prompt guidance on these matters would be greatly appreciated.

I have been attempting to contact European customer service by phone multiple times since last week but have been unsuccessful. The answering machine informed me that no French operators were available and then that all English agents were busy, prompting me to call back later each time. Is there a preferred time or day to reach them? If possible, I would like to request a seat change for my daughter on flight JL042 from London to Tokyo on August 13, [redacted]. The current seat number is 49H (reservation 63UVLR), and I would like to change it to 45K to sit closer to me at seat 45H (reservation 638C5T). I was unable to make this change online. I am willing to pay any necessary fees. Our goal is to visit and assist my son who runs "Hokkaido wings" company. Our original plan to visit him on April 8, [redacted], was disrupted by the pandemic. Hello, I'm Finley MacDonald. My wife, Yang Meiting, booked tickets for us and our child on flight [redacted] from Hong Kong to Spokane, Washington on July 6. Since booking, there have been changes to the flight, and we are looking to confirm or request a refund. The issue we are facing is that we will be departing from Guangzhou, Mainland China, which may require us to book a ferry or a flight to Hong Kong for our trip. We understand that our baggage must be checked through to our final destination to utilize the ferry from Shenzhen, Shekou Port, or a flight from Guangzhou Baiyun Airport to Hong Kong. Hello, I recently booked a return flight to Australia with Japan Airlines from August 4th to 26th. I received a notification about a flight modification that delays my return by a day, causing me to miss my connection. When I tried to confirm the change on Japan Airlines' website, I encountered an error message stating that the reservation details cannot be displayed due to various reasons. Hello, I am currently at the airport after experiencing a canceled flight leg on my route from Indianapolis to South Korea. Japan Airlines refused boarding for the second leg due to a missing Japan visa. Myholiday.com is attempting to arrange a refund or an alternative flight connecting through Japan Airlines, but I have faced difficulties reaching Japan Airlines for assistance. The listed customer service number only handles new bookings. My airline is PNE ZCTTUK. I am stranded in Chicago airport awaiting myholiday.com's communication. Please provide urgent assistance with either an alternate flight including hotel stay in Chicago or a refund. Following a challenging experience spending several days at Chicago airport due to flight complications, I feel compelled to address the issues encountered with flights from Japan to Gimpo, South Korea. Despite these routes no longer operating, travel agencies continue to sell these itineraries, leading to customer frustration. In instances where adjustments are needed, customers face additional expenses or lengthy refund processes. I personally faced such issues when my itinerary was disrupted, necessitating urgent changes with the assistance of American Airlines and Qatar Airways. Throughout this scenario, my travel agency, My Holiday, struggled to rectify the situation, partly attributing the challenges to Japan Airlines' unresponsiveness. Attempts to contact the airline directly were fruitless, exacerbating the ordeal. Despite these setbacks, I am yet to receive compensation or communication regarding reimbursement from My Holiday. I appeal to Japan Airlines to facilitate a resolution by providing a channel for submitting expense claims. I share this experience in the hope that accountability is upheld, and measures are taken to rectify such occurrences.

I am Tam Thi Dinh. Unfortunately, I missed my flight JL7445 this morning at 7:31 because I was not informed about the required Covid test for transit in Japan by the agency that took care of my ticket. I want to mention that the Covid test is no longer required to enter Vietnam. Therefore, I did not take the test. I would greatly appreciate your assistance in rescheduling my flight at your earliest availability.

To whom it may concern, On March 29 at 10:04 PM, we attempted to purchase plane tickets via Expedia.Mx from Monterrey, NL, Mexico to Hanoi, Vietnam. We used BBVA's [redacted] ending electronic card, which was declined with an error message to try another card or contact the bank. We then tried Citi Banamex card ending in [redacted] with the same result. Despite no tickets being issued, charges were made on both credit cards. Enclosed are statements showing these charges and the bank's confirmation of the charges. Expedia claims no liability and advised contacting the merchant, Japan Airlines. We have tried to resolve this for 10 weeks. The payments were made to Japan Airlines, with authorization number [redacted] and Reference [redacted][redacted][redacted]. We ask for the refund of these charges as we did not receive the tickets. Looking forward to your prompt response.

Hello, I am trying to purchase a "paid advance seat selection for extra legroom seat" but it's not letting me do it online. It says I need to make a call to JAL center in order to do it, as it has to do with the purchasing of a ticket from a country other than where the travel on JAL will commence. As a result, I can only purchase it by calling JAL center, which has proven difficult. My confirmation number is: 57JNAI (JAL flights JL0078 and JL0012) and I also have JAL Mileage Bank account, [redacted]20, although it doesn't let me connect it to this reservation, as I have booked the reservation prior to becoming a Mileage Bank member.
