Up until now, I have been a long-time user of the LG 306G and its predecessor, a similar 2G model, both of which I have truly enjoyed. As the major carriers are phasing out support for 3G phones, I understand it’s time to transition to a smartphone, though I am a bit apprehensive. Could you recommend a budget-friendly LG smartphone with 4G LTE that is user-friendly and easy to adapt to? Being 69 years old and accustomed to traditional phones, I am looking to make a smooth transition to a smartphone. Thank you for your help.

I consulted the Consumer Reports Buying Guide [redacted] to select an LG LTCS20020W refrigerator after experiencing a water leakage issue with my previous model. At LOWES, there were not many refrigerators in-store, but I was able to order the LG model for next day delivery. Upon delivery, I discovered that the new refrigerator was narrower but deeper than my previous one. I am looking for additional door shelves to optimize storage and wondering if LG offers shelves that would be suitable, especially considering the unique handles on the crispers. I am also exploring if I could return this model for a better LG refrigerator by paying the price difference. Is there a way to make this LG refrigerator work better for my needs?

I have a complaint regarding the LG Refrigerator Model Number LFXS29263D/00, purchased from Home Depot. The Filter Head Assembly Housing is defective. After 6 months, the filter wouldn't lock in place. Although repaired under warranty, it took two weeks, leaving me without ice and water. After another 6 months, the issue reoccurred. LG stated it's out of warranty, so I paid $[redacted] to repair it myself. To prevent future problems, I bought a $9 Bypass cartridge, but it didn't fit - LG couldn't offer a compatible one. I request a $[redacted] refund, including the non-working Bypass cartridge. A solution is needed, such as creating a suitable Bypass cartridge for this model. I bought an LG model LFSC22520D/04 on 4/13/[redacted], and it stopped working. A repairman came a week later with a new compressor, but the fridge broke down after 48 hours. The repairman then discovered a coolant leak, which he fixed. However, 12 hours later, the ice had melted again. I requested a replacement or a refund as I couldn't wait for another lengthy repair process after being without a fridge for three weeks. LG customer service advised me to send my original receipt and promised a refund in 3 business days. I bought the same LG fridge, had it delivered on Nov 12, [redacted], and the old one was taken away. Now, LG wants the old fridge back, even though it was crushed. I recently purchased a MODEL 55UP7000PUA from Best Buy in September [redacted]. My serial number is 106TJLK1D888. I am experiencing issues with the TV which powers on but only flashes the startup screen continuously. I am looking to file a claim under the one-year manufacturer's warranty. However, when I contacted Best Buy customer service, I was advised that they only service TVs with a screen size of 43' or smaller. They mentioned that larger TVs require an extended warranty for on-site repair, which must be purchased at the time of the initial purchase. Upon reviewing the manufacturer's one-year warranty, I could not find any information regarding the requirement for an extended warranty or the restriction on screen size for repairs. I had been enjoying this TV for about six weeks before encountering this issue, so I was disappointed with the response I received from customer service.

I am experiencing problems with my LG 4-door refrigerator, specifically with the craft ice maker. Since May [redacted], water has been filling up the ice bin instead of making ice cubes. Ice crystals are forming on the tubes and plastic drawer, even after the ice maker was replaced under warranty. The repair service was scheduled to come on Sept 28th but did not show up. I moved my daughter, who has Alzheimer's Disease, to my home, and now she's moving to comfort care. The facility she's going to uses Direct TV, which she's never had. Unfortunately, I forgot to pack the original remote when moving her belongings, and now I can't access the TV at the facility since I'm at home. Prior to leaving, I was instructed to bring the original remote, but I'm unsure what type it is beyond being an LG model that cost about $[redacted] at Target. How can the maintenance man connect her TV to Direct TV without the original remote, considering the situation?

My LG dishwasher needs a new circuit board. I obtained authorization for the technician to order it from LG under warranty, so the part would be free, but I would pay for the installation. Reliable Appliances gave me an estimate of $[redacted] plus labor to replace the circuit board, which seems too high considering the option of buying a new dishwasher. When I discovered LG could provide the board for free, Reliable Appliances refused to install it. I'm struggling to find a repair service willing to work with me under these conditions. Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing from Faridabad. On the 14th of December around 9:30 AM, my LCD TV suddenly had a dim picture. I reported the issue to LG TV customer care, who assured me it would be resolved promptly. However, no one came that day. On the 15th of December at 3:49 PM, a technician from Delhi arrived and identified a damaged backlight. The TV was taken for repairs with the promise of returning it by the 17th of Dec. Upon contacting Mallik Electronics today, I was informed that my TV is ready and will be delivered on the 18th of December, which seems uncertain. It's concerning to see a company as big as LG not having its own service center, resorting to outsourcing repair services. This raises doubts about the expertise of the outsourced agency. If LG cannot provide in-house technical support, the quality of service may be compromised, especially in smaller cities. I am considering escalating this issue to the media to shed light on the service challenges faced by LG customers.

I purchased an lmx25981st refrigerator a few years ago. After about four years, it started overheating and burned out the compressor. I had it replaced, but after another five years, it overheated again and stopped working. Instead of replacing the compressor again, I opted to replace the relay and capacitor. I managed to get it up and running once more. Observing that the unit was still running hot, I improved the ventilation and installed two small fans. The refrigerator is now running cooler! This fix saved me from having to buy a new three thousand dollar refrigerator. I believe there may be a significant design flaw with that model since the only fan present is in the moisture collection area.

Over 3 years ago, we purchased an LG TV 65UJ63V and a fridge freezer GBB595SWHFS. Both items have developed faults; the fridge has been repaired twice and now needs replacement, while the TV requires a costly repair of [redacted] euros plus transportation fees. Hello, I purchased an automatic washing machine yesterday and was told an engineer would come for a demo and installation. I received a call from customer support at 10:55 am saying a technician named Aman would come, but no specific time was given before the call ended abruptly. After waiting for 4 hours, I called back and was informed that Aman would come, but still no time frame was provided. Customer support representative Shikha questioned why I was waiting and could not provide an estimated time of arrival. After some time, Aman contacted me asking for my address and mentioned he might arrive between 3:30 pm to 4 pm or later. When I requested a precise time, he mentioned he would call me back in 5 minutes. Despite sharing my address multiple times, the technician did not arrive the whole day. Given that it is just my wife and me using the appliance, it seems unlikely that the drain pump would have failed so soon. It is my belief that the part was faulty from the outset. We incurred a cost of $[redacted].70 from Bill & Rod's Appliance Repair for this repair, which I consider unjustified. As buyers of this LG product with the expectation of longevity, we are disappointed. I bought an LG 65-inch OLED TV from Best Buy on December 3, [redacted].
