My name is Maxine Baker. I had requested a pick-up but ended up not needing the ride as someone else took me home. Despite informing the driver, named Ahmad, that I didn't require the ride and not seeing him when he arrived, I was still charged. This situation is unfair to me, and I am on a tight budget. I would like a refund for this unnecessary charge. Thank you.

I took a ride home from Jackson Square Mall with Adem on December 4, [redacted]. I brought purchases, food, and milkshakes in a tray. When I got into the car, the driver sped into traffic, causing the milkshakes to spill all over me. Despite telling the driver, he didn't acknowledge it. After dropping me off, I noticed an unauthorized $80 fee deducted from my bank account. The driver claimed I was responsible for the mess and demanded payment as per the terms of service. I disputed this, but they refused to adjust the charge. I notified my bank of the unauthorized transaction. I need this matter resolved promptly.

While in the car, the driver hit the curb and Clara could not continue driving due to a flat tire caused by the impact. She advised me to request another ride and mentioned she would cancel the trip. After she ended the ride prematurely, I noticed that I was still charged for the incomplete trip. I believe I should not be billed for a ride that was not completed as she did not take me to my destination. I kindly request that someone investigate this matter and process a refund for the fare. While attempting to download the app, I noticed that the system charged me for a trip unexpectedly. Initially, there was no option to cancel, so I left a note for the driver and tried to call without success. I was not able to reach the driver as she did not return my call. Surprisingly, the driver was within 4 minutes of my home when I finally had the option to cancel. I am a frequent user of your service, so I am anticipating a refund for this charge. The scheduled trip is for tomorrow, and this incident occurred on December 7, [redacted], around 2:20 pm.

I want to commend Beth for her exceptional service on 12/03/20. Despite a challenging situation where AAA had just towed my truck and left me stranded, Beth came to my rescue promptly in her stylish Mazda. I wanted to express my gratitude for her prompt assistance on the corner of Sunrise and Gold Express in Rancho Cordova. She deserves the highest rating of 10! When I tried to leave a positive review through the Lyft app, I encountered issues with the system giving me an error message for no rides for Shaun. Despite the frustrating experience with the company's app, Beth's service was outstanding, and I wanted to ensure she received the recognition she deserves.

I was unexpectedly charged $6.25, and I require a refund. It seems challenging to reach anyone at your company when such issues arise. I was billed for a Lyft ride I never took, and it is frustrating not to have a direct line of communication to resolve this. The lack of customer support over the phone is disappointing. I was driving a Lyft rental when the check engine light came on and the car began to overheat. After bringing it in for repairs, the service station couldn't fix it, and it had to be towed back to the rental company. Lyft hasn't been responsive regarding whether I'll be charged for the rental while I don't have the vehicle. They keep saying they're looking into it, but it's been a week without any updates.

I rely on Lyft for my daily commute to and from work, but I recently noticed that I was charged twice for a ride that I had already changed. I paid the extra amount before heading back to the same address. However, even after the money was deducted, it's still showing that I have a balance due. This issue is causing me inconvenience as I depend on Lyft every day. I'm currently staying at a hotel for work for the next 14 days, so it's crucial that my account is in good standing. This morning, I booked a Lyft from [redacted] Cosie Dr to the River Metro bus station. The charge was supposed to be $1.00 but I was overcharged. The pick-up and drop-off points on my account are incorrect. The driver made a mistake by stopping at the wrong house initially. I had to guide them to the correct location. Unfortunately, my ride history is showing the wrong information. I kindly request a correction for the charge and a refund of the overcharged amount. I noticed a charge on my bank statement from Lyft for $73.36 on 12/16 at 2:00 p.m. in San Francisco, California. This charge is not something I authorized, nor does anyone I know have access to my account to make such a large debit. I would like a refund for this unauthorized transaction.

Good afternoon, I recently updated my phone number and encountered issues trying to contact customers as my old number was still on file. Following advice to log out and log back in to update my account with the new number, I faced a challenge. The verification email was sent to an old email that I no longer have access to, resulting in me being locked out of my Lyft account. I require assistance in logging back into my account and updating my details.

On Wednesday, December 16 at 9:20 a.m., I requested a taxi. The driver contacted me and instructed me to meet him at the corner. Unfortunately, I had to exit the building from another direction, which led to confusion as it was only a corner away. I tried to reach out to the driver, but he never arrived. Being 8 and a half months pregnant, it was challenging for me to walk to his location. I was disappointed by the lack of communication and the inconvenience, especially considering the circumstances. I am not willing to pay the fare for a service that was not provided.

I scheduled a ride for 1:47 pm on Thursday, 12/17/20 with Lyft. The driver, Ernest with a Dodge White vehicle, was supposed to pick me up at 2:10 pm at the Subway Store on Harbour Place Drive in Davidson, NC [redacted]. The map initially showed the driver approaching my location, but then suddenly cleared and indicated that the pickup was completed at 2:14 pm. I never got in the car, even though the app asked me to add a tip and rate the ride. Despite Lyft claiming that I was picked up, I have two witnesses from the Subway Store who can confirm that I was still waiting there at 2:17 pm. I have contacted my bank to dispute the charge of $12.67 for the no-show by the driver, Ernest. This situation has caused me to miss my cardiologist appointment at [redacted] Gilead Rd, Huntersville, NC [redacted], and I may incur additional fees due to the driver's actions.

After completing my ride, I opted to wait for 15 minutes to reduce the fare. However, I noticed that despite the ride overview indicating a charge of $14.35, I was actually billed $17.22. The driver followed the suggested route, and I did not modify the destination or add any stops. Without any visible explanation, I was unexpectedly charged almost $3 extra. I have reviewed the app's FAQ and help center but remain perplexed by this unexplained additional charge.

I arranged a ride for my fiancé, and initially, it showed that the driver was just 9 minutes away. However, as the time decreased to 6 minutes, the ride suddenly disappeared. Attempting to book another ride took an incredibly long time, but it never materialized. Frustrated, my fiancé tried to request a ride himself, only to be informed of a 15-minute wait. When the app indicated the driver had arrived, reaching out, my fiancé discovered the driver was en route to Ooltewah, not Volkswagen as requested. The ride that appeared was actually designated for someone else. This entire experience is extremely aggravating, especially as my fiancé had to endure waiting outside for over an hour due to these recurring app glitches.

My account got deactivated after a rider reported faulty brakes. Rodrigo from Lyft advised me to get an inspection form filled out by a certified technician. I promptly took my car to the Toyota dealership's service department for a 19-point inspection. I sent back the inspection report as instructed on Wednesday, 12/16/[redacted]. However, I have not received any updates or had my account reactivated. I'm unsure of the status - has my account been permanently deactivated? I appreciate any information you can provide. Regarding Maria's email about the overcharge issue, as a 79-year-old, I usually don't remember names unless I write them down. I wasn't aware that noting down driver names was necessary when using your service. On 12/17/20, when I used your service to go to my dentist on 6th Ave, I couldn't recall the driver who took me there, but on the return trip, the driver's name was JOSE. I noticed I was charged $7.28 twice. Additionally, on the trip to the dentist, where I don't recall the driver's name, I was overcharged $9.28. Every time I book your service, the initial price differs from what I end up paying. Upon reviewing my bank statements since 11/18/20, I found numerous instances of unauthorized double charges that need further clarification.

I left my phone in a Lyft ride due to an incident during my trip. After trying to contact the driver with no luck, I informed Lyft about the situation. Despite initially being unresponsive, Lyft eventually reached out and corrected the phone number issue with the driver. However, even after following up, I was informed that the driver remained unresponsive. Despite providing all necessary details and patiently waiting, the issue is still unresolved after ten days. I am feeling frustrated and confused about the lack of progress in retrieving my lost phone.
