I have an early flight from SFO and need a ride, but I'm hesitant to call at odd hours. How can I pre-book a ride ahead of time for an early morning trip? I'm departing this week, but I'm unsure how to schedule it in advance. I want to ensure a timely ride at 4:30 am on Sunday. Can Lyft assist in making a reservation for me a few days prior to the flight?

I opened a Lyft account in February [redacted]. Despite trying to use it multiple times, my cards always get declined. I followed Lyft's card acceptance policies and even purchased a $60 Lyft gift card when my cards weren't accepted. I added a new checking account with my debit card, but it still didn't work. I had multiple cards with my name and address matching, but I kept receiving requests to add another card. After speaking with three reps who provided conflicting information, my issue remained unresolved. I even had Lyft cash that I couldn't use for a ride. I demanded a refund but didn't receive any help. I threatened to involve the attorney general due to their poor business practices. Despite reaching out for assistance, my account remains deactivated, leaving me frustrated and seeking a quick resolution to either use the Lyft cash or receive a refund. The lack of customer service and inability to address my concerns has been disappointing and I am considering sharing my experience on social media for awareness.

Yesterday morning, I tried to request a ride to work. The app indicated the driver would arrive within 4 minutes, but after 10 minutes, the driver had not moved from their location, and the app still showed 4 minutes. I messaged the driver to confirm if they were on the way, and they just repeated they would be there in 4 minutes without moving. Eventually, I had to cancel the ride as I was going to be late for work, leading me to call off work for the day. I am dissatisfied with the service and seek compensation for the inconvenience and the trouble it caused me with my employer. I have screenshots to support my experience but cannot upload them here.

Yesterday, I had an unsettling experience where a stranger picked me up pretending to be my ride-share driver and knew personal details about me. He then demanded payment outside of the app, claiming he wasn't from Lyft as expected. This situation caused me distress as he mentioned being with Uber and a car company. The person who was actually assigned to pick me up never arrived due to the imposter. I later discovered the deceit when speaking to a Lyft driver. The fake driver even harassed me at work, which has left me feeling anxious. I am unsure what steps to take as I don't have the imposter's name. I'm hesitant to involve the assigned driver in this dilemma but feel concerned about the situation given the imposter had access to my personal information despite claiming to be from different ride-share services.

I clearly provided the address as [redacted] New Circle Rd., but the driver dropped me off at Meadow Lane instead, leaving me with an unknown distance to walk to Walmart. When I asked him to take me to my destination, he refused, stating he needed to pick up another passenger. This incident left me stranded in a dangerous part of town, which was extremely distressing and an unacceptable way to conduct business. I have tried to reach out for assistance but have been unable to speak with anyone promptly or resolve the issue efficiently, leading me to understand why customer service is lacking. Due to this frustrating experience, I am considering reporting this to the Better Business Bureau and sharing my negative experience on social media platforms to warn others against using this service.

On September 2nd, I took a ride with Lyft to Circle K around 1:45 am. I paid the driver in cash to wait for me and asked for an additional stop. Unfortunately, the driver left me stranded at Circle K at 2:15 am. I had to walk home in an area known for crime at 2:30 am due to a lack of available drivers. Lyft support claimed they credited my account, but my Direct Express benefits card does not allow deposits, only withdrawals. They said to wait 5-7 days for the credit to appear, which I doubt will happen. Despite sending multiple emails, they do not address my request to credit my checking debit card ending in #[redacted]. I feel ignored as a customer who has spent a significant amount with Lyft. I am considering reporting this to the Attorney General in California and the BBB. Until I receive my $9.79 refund, I will not be using Lyft, opting for Uber instead for my frequent rides to Orlando and Tampa airports. It's disappointing that Lyft has not lived up to its reputation for customer care.

On 8/30, I requested a ride and was charged $6.94, but unfortunately, the driver never picked me up. It's not just about the money; I am very disappointed in Lyft's service. When the app showed the driver was nearby, I tried calling, but the driver didn't answer. Instead, their car drove off on the app, as if I had been dropped off, which never occurred. I hope this issue can be resolved promptly.

Today at 3 PM, I was expecting a Lyft driver to pick me up at 88 Pine, but they did not arrive as requested. Despite receiving a notification that the driver had arrived, they were nowhere to be seen. As an 82-year-old, it was challenging for me to be left waiting in the light rain without an umbrella. The situation was further exacerbated when I was told I needed to wear a face mask, even though I was already wearing one as a standard safety measure. It appears that the driver may have used this as an excuse to mark me as a no-show. Being a dedicated Lyft user for several months, I am extremely disappointed by the experience I had to endure this afternoon.

I left my phone in the Lyft car this morning at around 8 am. I was picked up at Clark & Drummond and traveled to Addison and Southport. There was some confusion with the app on my phone, and the driver initially thought I wanted to go to [redacted] Drummond. I have not received a receipt for my trip, and when trying to log into my Lyft account, I am informed that my account cannot be found. Can you check if you have a record of my trip and if the driver has found my phone in the back seat? I was waiting outside the hospital on a stormy day when my ride arrived. The driver got upset when I accidentally closed the door too hard due to the rain and thunder. Despite my explanations, she abruptly asked me to leave the car. This experience was unsettling as we had only traveled a short distance. I am a senior citizen with a shoulder injury and was caught off guard by the driver's behavior. To add to the distress, I was charged for a ride I didn't even complete. I am disappointed by this ordeal and am seeking compensation for the inconvenience caused.

While entering the car during heavy rain and thunder, I inadvertently slammed the door without hearing the driver's initial request not to. This led to an unpleasant exchange where I felt unfairly asked to exit the vehicle, leaving me stranded in the rain with my arm brace soaked. I left my iPhone in a Lyft driver's car last night after a concert in Austin, Texas. I used Find my iPhone, which showed it was at an apartment complex in Austin, at [redacted] Norwood Park Blvd, [redacted]. I tried pinging the phone to make a sound for the driver to notice, but with the battery now dead, he might not have heard it. The driver's name is Zia. I've contacted Lyft through their website form, but haven't received a response. Unfortunately, I can't access my Lyft account on my computer since it sends a verification code to my lost iPhone.

This morning, I encountered issues with the Lyft app when trying to book a ride to the airport. Despite multiple attempts, the app was stuck on the booking screen due to a server error. This resulted in confusion as a driver was on their way, but ride details were not visible. After my wife successfully booked a ride, problems persisted as ride details remained inaccessible. Even after restarting the app and my phone, the issue persisted. During this ordeal, several drivers arrived without ride details displayed. I contacted customer service for assistance but have yet to resolve the issue. I plan to uninstall and reinstall the app to try and fix the problem. I also request that all charges and feedback from Friday, September 17, [redacted], under the account Aleksei Lubell be removed. Kindly send an email confirmation and help address this app malfunction.

I have recently had a negative experience with Lyft. This is the second time I have used their service, and I have found their prices to be very high. In addition, a driver did not pick me up after accepting the ride, claiming I was not wearing a mask which is untrue as I always follow safety guidelines. Some Lyft drivers do not wear masks, and it is concerning. I hope I was not charged for this incident as it was the driver's fault. I am frustrated with the unprofessional treatment and lies I have encountered. If Lyft does not want my business, I will take it elsewhere, as I have spent a significant amount of money with them. My overall rating for Lyft has significantly dropped due to this experience, and I have heard similar complaints from others.

Hello, my name is Rosemary Hogan. I'm experiencing some issues with Lyft. I've been attempting to contact them all morning regarding my payment concerns. Earlier today, when I called Lyft for a ride to work, the first driver charged me $14 but never arrived. After a second attempt, I was charged $15 for another ride. Upon reaching work, I was charged an additional $15. In total, Lyft has charged me three times on my credit card today. I'm requesting a refund of $14 and $15. While I had initially been charged $15, an additional $15 charge appeared on my credit card statement. Therefore, Lyft owes me $29 in total. I hope to resolve this matter with Lyft promptly before considering further actions as this has happened before. I kindly ask them to refund my money back to my account.

Dear Sir, I had requested a car to [redacted] Greenwich Avenue at 1:30 today, but the driver did not arrive despite being informed of the correct address. An email regarding wearing a mask was received later, suggesting the driver may have falsely claimed I was not wearing one. This troubles me as I always wear a mask, being 68 years old. On Friday morning, I was given a quote for a Lyft ride from [redacted] Garret Road to [redacted] N Lawrence Road. The prices I was initially quoted were $28.00 and some change, and the other rate was $32.00. However, when I completed the ride, the price had surged to $51.00. I am disappointed that the fare increased significantly without explanation. This unfair pricing issue has happened to others I know as well. I hope this matter can be resolved. It's frustrating that I can't directly reach out to a customer service representative about this problem. This isn't the first time I've faced this issue with Lyft. I may need to consider alternative transportation options if this continues to happen.
