Get a ride ... Open Lyft account Feb ****. I have tried using it many times since then but my cards were always declined. At one point I had five different valid cards per your card acceptance policies and a I had a apple account. You see I bought a Lyft gift card in the amount of $** since you wouldn’t take my cards. Funny thing is you gladly took my card for payment of a gift card you say you won’t refund. Anyway, so I got another checking account and put my debit card on. Still I kept getting notices saying I needing to add another card. So I would and still nothing. It said name and address must match and they did. I spoke with * reps one said she would get right back with me and then never did and just shut down my chat. Then the next day some guy gave me to pre written text of well for your protection we need you to have two cards with your name and address. I said I already did have that on there. He said well We need another one. I told him a had already had * cards plus Apple Pay and that I have a $** Lyft cash I needed to use as well. Plus I was taking a ride that would have used $** lift pay giving a $** cushion if my cards weren’t good enough. He told me I needed another card so I put on my brand new checking account card and again he said I needed another card. I said look I have put more than enough cards which were fully funded and had money on them and per your payment acceptance policies would and should have been good enough. He then told me he didn’t know and it would have to be escalated and I reminded him that I was already told that and hadn’t heard back and my job depended on me getting to work so I needed to use my Lyft cash to get to work ASAP but he refused to help me. I then said I need my money refunded immediately so I can use it somewhere else and save my job. No one would help me and he said he couldn’t and I said fine I will report you all to my attorney general for your business practices and this was awful awful service. He disconnected so he hung up on me without warning. Just left. So I tried to connect again and no one would connect with me. All your people ignored me on chat. So I called the emergency line after waiting another day checking my email and nothing. Reached someone via emergency line. She told me someone else would be in touch to help me resolve and still nothing. It’s been two more days since then. This is absurd!? What in the world makes you think you can take peoples money and then not allow them to even use the service they paid for? Then you ignore my requests for answers, say I will get email help and it’s been * days since my first interaction I was told I would get help via email. Now you have my account deactivated all because I want some dang answers as to why you guys want to apparently ***** me over for no reason?! I need my account up and working so I can use the dang $** or you can refund it so I can use it with Uber. There’s a business practice that is illegal in which you are operating. It’s called bait snd switch and that is what I believe you are doing to me. You bait me with the possibility of getting a ride. Fool me into thinking I need to buy Lyft cash to get my account to work and then once I buy the cash you don’t allow me to get any rides after you have so many different valid cards all matching address and name I need quick resolution to this or I will take to your social media accounts to get quick notice and let people know of this evil manipulation you are partaking in. It’s not healthy and very dangerous to your brand. All I want is my dang money or the service. One or the other. You should respect customers and help them not brush them off like dogs. That’s what every single person did. Are you going to as well? We shall see.
Kept adding payment cards but they wouldn't accept. However they accepted immediately when i bought a ** dollar gift card so that. I could use it to pay for ride. But they wont let me use it without a payment card on file. Apparently my card works just fine to buy the gift card!
