Dear Microsoft Tech Support, I am reaching out to address an issue I encountered while trying to link my Skype account to my main email, [redacted] Accidentally, I replaced my email with [redacted], resulting in the deletion of the [redacted] account. I am seeking assistance to recover my original email as it is crucial for my work and school-related activities. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated, and I look forward to a positive resolution. Sincerely, Gavin

I need to cancel an Office [redacted] subscription today to avoid being charged on December 12, [redacted]. The account owner and the credit card holder are different, but the credit card holder can't cancel the subscription directly. The account owner tried to cancel but faced a verification issue, leading to the account getting blocked. How can I cancel the subscription for the blocked account to prevent the credit card from being charged tomorrow?

I have a Microsoft Volume Licensing (MSVL) subscription and purchased Server [redacted] Standard, Core, and Data Center, but none of these products will activate using the associated key. I have contacted Microsoft five times, and they have disconnected the calls each time after providing my subscription information and key, which have been verified correctly. Despite this, they seem puzzled and ask to put me on hold to research the issue, only to hang up each time. I manage IT for over 20 automotive Tier 1 manufacturing plants worldwide, all using Surface products, Office [redacted], SQL, etc. Each time I call, I encounter a condescending representative I struggle to understand, and they get impatient when I ask for clarification. I would appreciate speaking with an American representative to resolve my problems instead of switching to G-Suite. I believe in providing quality support over excessive charges and valuing customer satisfaction, quality products, and employee contentment in business relationships, as famously said by Peter Drucker.

I am having trouble navigating the Outlook app on my phone. Despite instructions to go to the upper left corner or the bottom of the screen to find certain buttons, I cannot locate them as described. This confusion is making it difficult for me to use the application effectively. I don't understand why these features are not visible on my phone. I am frustrated with the lack of assistance provided by Microsoft. It's frustrating to constantly have to change my password and encounter these issues while trying to access my account. I might consider discontinuing my use of Outlook if these problems persist.

1) I am facing difficulty saving files like Excel, Word, and PDF directly into specific folders. As a temporary solution, I am storing them in alternative locations, causing disruption in my file management process. 2) While I can relocate files among folders, I encounter an issue when trying to open them from their new destinations. An error message appears stating, "Sorry, we couldn't find . Is it possible it was moved, renamed, or deleted?" Interestingly, once returned to their initial folders, I can once again access the files without any problem.

This morning, our desktop PC started acting up, so we had to reinstall Windows 7. We have Office Professional Plus [redacted] installed. However, when attempting to reconnect Office Outlook for email access, we encountered an error stating "The connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action." After clicking "ok," a Microsoft Exchange box prompts for the Microsoft Server and Mailbox details. We are unsure about what to enter in these fields. Should we use the numerical server address? What should be entered for the mailbox address? If we close the box, another Microsoft Outlook error pops up stating "Cannot open your default email folders," mentioning that our "C" file is not an Outlook data file (.ost). The only tab available in the upper left corner is "File," which we are unable to access to set up the email account again.

I sometimes experience issues logging in with my password, especially on my phone. I've attempted to change my password and the email address to send the reset link, but it's not working. Although I'm logged in on my phone, I'm not receiving new emails or able to send any. The virtual agent wasn't helpful as I couldn't sign in. Contacting customer support was extremely frustrating and time-consuming as it kept directing me back to the virtual agent. I'm disappointed with the service and would like to speak with a live person for assistance. Unfortunately, I'm unable to access my hotmail account, so I'm leaving my gmail password. If someone could provide a phone number for direct assistance, I would be grateful. Thank you to anyone who could help me with this matter.

I encountered an issue with my laptop. Upon starting it, a white screen with the date and time appeared, followed by a password box. After entering my password, a black screen displayed, but nothing happened. I tried restarting and following troubleshooting steps without success. The computer specialist I contacted asked about my Windows 10 update and offered repair options. I am now considering the proposed solutions to resolve the problem.

My new Xbox One X keeps crashing and instructing me to delete all games and apps then redownload them. Avoiding a factory reset, I've been restarting it. This issue has persisted for a week. Today, it deleted everything, and when I tried to set it up again, it froze. I purchased it on Amazon and have played Xbox since the beginning. I am considering returning it. I've tried calling, but keep getting redirected to the website with no solution for this problem. It's frustrating not being able to speak to someone about this. If I can't contact a person, I will return it and avoid Microsoft in the future. It's disappointing that my brand new Xbox is causing more trouble than my old one did in years.

I encountered a message on my screen indicating that my computer is in a blocked state. A voice message accompanied it stating that my computer has been locked up as my IP address allegedly visited sites containing identity theft virus. The screen instructs me to call support at 1-[redacted] to unlock my computer, warning against shutting down the system due to data loss and identity theft risks. Once I contacted the support number, the representative promptly suggested taking remote control of my computer. For security reasons, I decided to seek a contact number where I can verify the legitimacy of the support provider. The message also mentions that it originates from the server winmax.cf and requests my email and password. I use a Dell Inspiron upgraded from Windows 8 to Windows 10. Is this the correct support to resolve this issue? My email is [redacted], but I am currently using a different laptop with the email [redacted]

I am seeking assistance in regaining access to my email account that I have been locked out of. Despite providing what I believed to be sufficient information to verify my ownership, I have been unsuccessful in recovering it. The alternative email for recovery seems to be in use, mirroring the issues with my primary email. I am facing the frustrating situation of being unable to access both of my main email accounts. I am willing to provide the names of the past four email correspondents from my university contacts again. I possess screenshots supporting my identity and can even capture a photo from my mobile device showing my open email account on my Mac.

Good morning, I am Tamar Otero, the account holder of [redacted] I am reaching out because I urgently need to regain access to my account. I have tried to fill out the recovery form, but I am unable to provide all the requested information, which is hindering my account recovery process. I understand the importance of security measures but I genuinely cannot recall the information needed. If there is an alternative way to verify my identity so I can access my email, I would greatly appreciate it. I am willing to provide personal identification or any necessary documents for this verification process. I will be eagerly waiting for your response. Thank you.

I am experiencing difficulty resetting my passcode for my phone repeatedly. It freezes my phone, hindering my ability to text and access emails. Instructions to retrieve the code are being sent to an incorrect Hotmail address, but my email is [redacted] The directions include filling in the missing parts of the email, but I have tried various email formats without success. It is crucial for me to resolve this issue as my mailbox is the only way I can communicate with my son who is abroad. I am not proficient in using the phone to troubleshoot this matter and would prefer speaking to a representative directly. Please assist me as I am unable to receive the necessary code via email at the moment.

I received a phone call from someone claiming to be Microsoft support, alleging that my computer was downloading malicious files while accessing various websites. They provided a 32-character string and instructed me to run a program via "Windows button + R." When I asked for the program name, the call disconnected. Throughout the 15-minute call with four different individuals, I questioned their legitimacy. They provided me with the following number for my computer: 888dca60fc0a11cf8f0f00c04fd7d062. I am unsure how they obtained this information. I would appreciate any insights on whether this is a valid concern. Thank you in advance.

After uninstalling an app I don't usually use, I restarted my device and now I can't connect to my Wi-Fi. I've tried troubleshooting but it can't identify the issue. When I seek help online, I can't access it due to the Wi-Fi problem. I need assistance in reconnecting to my Wi-Fi. I'm considering reinstalling the app, but I'm unsure how to do it. Can someone guide me through this process and help me restore my Wi-Fi connection? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

When I open "Intuit Quickbooks," I receive a message saying 'Unauthorized changes blocked - Controlled folder access blocked C:\Program Fi...\QBWE32.EXE from making changes to the folder %userprofile%\Documents.' After entering 'open' in the Open Company message, another message pops up saying 'You do not have sufficient permissions to the specified folder. To use Quickbooks in a multi-user environment, you must have read/write access and create/delete rights to the folder where the company file is stored. Please request your system administrator to grant you the necessary permissions to the specified folder. Click Help for more information.' I need to resolve this issue promptly as I am the treasurer for the 'Faunsdale Presbyterian Church' and need to close the books for the year end.

I've had ongoing issues with Word crashing after recent updates to my Office [redacted] subscription. Despite a support session a few months back resulting in an Internet loss after a remote control session, I tolerated the issue. Recently, my new PC, only four to five months old, continues to experience Office [redacted] problems, escalating to the point that now I can't access Office [redacted] at all. I attempted various repairs, encountering errors [redacted]-11 and [redacted]-13 repeatedly. I uninstalled and reinstalled Office [redacted] in both 64-bit and 32-bit versions to no avail. If these issues persist, regrettably, I will have to consider canceling my subscription. Interestingly, another PC in my household running Windows 8.1 is not experiencing similar problems. I appreciate any guidance to resolve this matter promptly. Thank you, Eric J.

I'm concerned that I may have fallen victim to a scam and need some clarity. Can you confirm if Microsoft engages with a company named ML Technology? My computer recently had a virus alert claiming to be from Microsoft, which led me to contact their support center. An individual posing as an engineer fixed the issue and advised that my current antivirus, Avast, was incompatible with Windows 10. I was persuaded to purchase a purported virus protection plan from ML Technology for £[redacted].50 for five years. I fear my bank details may be at risk. I suspect this was a scam and would like to warn others. Now, my computer seems to have an ad blocker. What steps should I take to address this? Should I reinstall Avast or opt for a different antivirus program? Thank you for any guidance. - Josie

Hello, my name is Jen Henthorne. I lost my computer and no longer have access to the phone linked to my Microsoft Hotmail account. I've been trying for the last four to five years to regain access. Despite answering security questions and receiving codes to my Gmail, I still can't log in. My Hotmail account holds emails from deceased loved ones, and I'm eager to retrieve them. The two-step verification is an issue as I no longer have the phone ending in [redacted]. My old secondary email, [redacted], is no longer in use as Facebook stopped email services. I'm willing to provide my driver's license and any necessary documents to prove my identity. I remember details from the laptop where I created the account and also used this email for Netflix. I'm committed to recovering my account and can share past passwords. Looking forward to your prompt response.

Dear Microsoft, I faced an issue with my account right before Christmas. I couldn't log in because I failed to update my new phone number. I've used my "[redacted]" email for almost 20 years, where I've connected with friends and made Xbox/ Microsoft purchases. Despite financial setbacks, I value my account with important personal and billing info tied to it. Receiving an Xbox One S for Christmas, I was disappointed I couldn't reactivate my Xbox live account "kaosbringer1995," investing time and money into it. I prefer Xbox/ Microsoft over PlayStation for the gaming experience and connections made. I attempted to update my new number "[redacted]" for text verification, but the old number "[redacted]" still shows. I seek help to regain access to my email and Xbox accounts without starting anew. Best, Your Xbox fan,Louis P Soares
