I needed some extra cash, so I decided to sell a couple of silver mint sets for $90. Unfortunately, the order got canceled by the time I dropped off the items at the post office. The buyer has received the items and a refund, but I'm left without the cash. Offer Up advised me to contact the buyer, who seems to be avoiding my messages. I'm hoping Offer Up can take action by freezing their account until the issue is resolved. I'm eager to receive payment for my sold items.

I came across a [redacted] Toyota Winnebago priced at $[redacted] in Ft. Worth, TX, and decided to buy it. The seller initially provided an incorrect invoice through Offerup, with a different buyer name, but after contacting the seller and Offerup, a corrected invoice was issued in my name. Following the invoice's instructions, I located a Bitcoin ATM and called Offer Up for further guidance as per the instructions. After making the payment, I received a text from Coin Flip confirming the transaction. The seller later requested additional money for shipping, a cost I did not agree to, leading me to ask for a refund. Despite multiple attempts to contact Offer Up, I struggled until Jessica answered on the tenth try. She was unhelpful and rude, hanging up when asked about the refund process. After using a different phone and finally reaching her, Jessica mentioned the financial department would contact me for the refund, using the number I called from. However, as I had to reach her from a different number previously, I emphasized the need for clarity but she hung up again. Despite several unanswered emails to Offer Up over 13 days, I have yet to receive any responses or solutions to my refund inquiry.

I sent my package via the post office and awaited an update. Several days later, I was informed that my sale had been cancelled, and payment would not be processed. The buyer shared that they hadn't received the package and couldn't track it due to the sale cancellation. Now, both of us are unsure about the package's whereabouts or the next steps to take. I'm still without payment, and the buyer hasn't received the item, despite my timely shipment. This situation is incredibly frustrating. Seeking assistance from Offerup has proven challenging after they cancelled my sale and instructed me to reach out. I am currently seeking a refund for a mistakenly sent coin transaction. Approximately 2-3 weeks ago, I sold an [redacted]-O Morgan silver dollar for $[redacted]. The buyer acknowledged my error and requested a refund, which I intended to process. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I was unable to complete the refund claim. Recently, I discovered that the transaction has been voided, leaving the buyer in possession of both the funds and the coin, a [redacted]-CC valued at twice the original amount. Unfortunately, I am now at a loss of potential earnings totaling $1[redacted] as I no longer have the [redacted]-CC coin or the funds from the initial sale. It is concerning that the refund was processed without the return of the incorrect item. I have all communication records related to this issue, confirming that the buyer did not return the coin. I believe this refund process is incomplete and unfair as the buyer now possesses both the money and the incorrect item. It is disappointing that User C Alberto has unintentionally acquired a valuable coin at my expense.

I sent the item to the customer approximately five days ago. They have confirmed receiving it and are pleased with their purchase. However, the system still shows the status as "shipped but not delivered," even though the customer has had it for more than the allotted inspection period. The payment release is pending. I urgently need the funds as my storage unit is at risk of being auctioned.

I have been trying to contact the support team for OfferUp for nearly a week without success. I have a serious issue with a package I shipped, which the customer received on time and was happy with. However, OfferUp claimed I didn't ship the item, threatening to cancel the sale if I didn't. Despite providing evidence of delivery with the USPS tracking number [redacted][redacted][redacted], the order was still canceled. My spouse installed the app and proceeded to purchase an item. After entering his information and clicking "confirm payment," a message appeared indicating the need for the newest app version for payment verification. Upon clicking "ok" and confirming the payment, nothing happens. We are unsure if the payment was processed and are concerned about the security of his information. I have an item listed on OfferUp. A buyer is interested in purchasing it through the app and wants to meet up in a few days. My questions are: 1. Can the buyer use my bank account payment deposit option on OfferUp? 2. Are there any processing fees for using the app payment? 3. Will the buyer receive confirmation of the sale? 4. Does the buyer need to accept the item upon pick up to acknowledge the sale? I have seen the 2-day shipping information, but in this case, the item will not be shipped. I bought a washer and dryer from someone who said they had a one-year warranty. Unfortunately, the washer caught fire, but it was replaced by a Samsung professional who assured me they were good units. I also let them take my working dryer. This new Samsung VRT Steam washer is causing issues - it won't drain and even flooded my floor today. I'm trying to figure out who I bought it from, as someone named Scott Taylor claims it wasn't him. I've been in touch with the seller, but they deny it. I hope OfferUp can help me identify the person I purchased these appliances from.

I encountered a frustrating situation where OfferUp deleted the seller's account right after I completed a purchase. Unfortunately, I am now unable to access my receipt for the transaction. This isn't the first time this issue has occurred with OfferUp's shipping process, and I'm seeking clarity on why it's happening. The seller and I had to arrange an alternative shipping method with FedEx since the standard $14.99 label OfferUp provided was not feasible for the item. However, once I agreed to this arrangement, I found myself blocked from further communication with the seller, landing on a user-blocked page. It's evident that this problem lies with OfferUp as it's a recurring problem that I've experienced with other sellers in the past.

In early June, I signed up for OfferUp to sell 5 items for one month. By the end of the month, OfferUp emailed me about breaking community rules, which led to my account termination. Despite attempts to resolve this, my account remained unusable. Unaware that I would continue to be charged monthly, I discovered charges from iTunes upon my return from overseas. I deleted the account on October 24th, not anticipating ongoing charges. Seeking a refund, I'm unable to reach iTunes for assistance. I have been using OfferUp for over 5 years, maintaining a 5-star rating with zero complaints. Recently, I experienced a hacking incident that affected all my devices and network. To safeguard my new equipment, I changed my phone number and updated it on OfferUp. However, the platform now requires me to verify my identity by submitting a copy of my government-issued ID. I find this excessive given my history of keeping my information current. Safety precautions like confirming phone numbers with customers are common, yet asking for sensitive ID information seems contradictory. I value my privacy and am reluctant to send such personal data online. I hope OfferUp can understand my concerns and reactivate my account. It's disheartening to risk losing my positive reputation on the platform over this request.

I am facing an issue with my OfferUp account. I am unable to access the email associated with my account as it was compromised and had to be closed. While my account was working fine for a few months, suddenly I was unable to log in and received an error message stating that my email was not valid. This seller engaged in deceptive practices by listing an item for $1 and then changing the price. After voicing my concern, the seller insulted me and erroneously reported me. I am frustrated by this situation and shared part of our conversation. I want to ensure OfferUp understands my perspective. It is distressing to see dishonest people succeed, especially when they shift blame onto their customers. It is important to stand up against fraudulent behavior.

I shipped an item sold on OfferUp on November 24th at 8:08 a.m., and it was picked up. Despite having fast deposit and my account set up for months, I have not yet received payment as of November 28th. I have checked the app and messages with the buyer, but cannot find any information regarding the payment timeline. The buyer confirmed the receipt the same day, so everything seems in order. I'm unsure why the payment is delayed. I am unsure if the delay is due to it being a Sunday or another issue.
