I am writing to express my profound disappointment with your company. Having flown Porter Airlines many times and finding nothing less than excellent service, I was most surprised by the lack of compassion shown over a recent flight cancellation for urgent medical reasons. *My husband and I had flights to and from Ottawa (from Toronto) this past weekend i.e. November **-*****. The tickets were purchased by my sister-in-law on November *nd. I had a fall on Nov *th that initially did not seem too bad however, I subsequently was found to have a fracture in my left wrist and a torn tendon at the base of my right thumb requiring surgery. The surgery was on November **rd. I now have both hands immobilized (I am typing this gingerly with one finger), and require my husband’s help with all daily functions. I understand that our tickets were standard ones and did not expect a refund, however, I do believe credit for a future flight is a reasonable response in these circumstances.*Your staff were courteous but blunt.*A more compassionate response may go a long way for your customer service and reputation.**Disappointed *Susan Friedman
