I am confused about the issues with my account. Last June, I submitted my work searches using my iPad due to computer problems. After my initial work search that week, I now have five work searches showing as required. I secured a job as a real estate agent, but I require extensive training and won't receive payment until I sell a home. I need to pay my company $85 monthly and the National Association of Realtors an annual fee of nearly $[redacted]. I reported my work searches for June and my hiring by the end of the month. I am uncertain if I can apply for benefits during my training period. Can I reopen the weeks I didn't request? I appreciate any assistance with this matter. Thank you. - T.C.

I lost my job on April 15, [redacted], due to COVID-19. I couldn't apply for unemployment until July 5, [redacted]. I spoke to a representative in July to request a change to the original claim date to reflect my job loss in April. They said it was noted in the system and advised me to watch for the date change in my account to claim those weeks. It's been over a year now, and I still have not received the benefits I deserve from April 15, [redacted] to July 5, [redacted]. Despite multiple calls, I keep being told it takes time, and requests for the date change have been made. I've seen others receive their back payments while I haven't received any or been informed of the delay reasons. I am homeless with kids due to this crisis, desperate, and confused about not getting my entitled compensation. Contacting unemployment for help is extremely difficult as I cannot reach a live representative. I urgently require assistance for this long-overdue payment. I really need someone to address this matter promptly. Your immediate attention to this issue is greatly appreciated.

I have attempted calling the phone numbers [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted] multiple times without success in reaching a human being. The recorded message claims all representatives are busy and disconnects. My issues remain unresolved as the Florida Job Center Help Desk fails to fix the looping app. The main problems are: 1. My account is locked with no solution in sight. 2. I am unable to change my pin number. 3. Upon contacting Employ Florida, I was informed that someone misused my Social Security number in [redacted] for benefit application despite not residing in Florida at the time. Could this be causing my current claim issues? I seek assistance in navigating these challenges. Having worked for the same company for 14 years until being laid off due to budget cuts, I believe I am entitled to unemployment benefits. Any guidance or correct contact information would be greatly appreciated.

Good morning, my son has been unemployed since July 5th, and his phone was shut off due to non-payment since he has no money. I have been trying to help him apply for unemployment benefits, but we are unable to reset the PIN on the account because the submit button doesn't work. We attempted to file a new claim, which required additional verification steps like a working phone in his name for identity confirmation. However, since his phone is disconnected, we encountered issues with the verification process. We are struggling to complete his claim online and have been unable to get assistance over the phone. We are looking for information on where we can go in person for help since the online system is proving difficult to navigate. Any guidance or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. - Angela from Sanford.

I began this process over a year ago, but I was quickly locked out of my account and didn't know how to resolve it. After a period of being homeless and losing everything, I finally managed to provide all the necessary information to unlock my account. Unfortunately, I noticed that incorrect information was added to my account without my knowledge. I have since filed for identity fraud, but my case remains unresolved. I have verified my identity with I'd.me and am almost at the point of being able to claim some weeks of benefits. However, I am being asked to provide three items to reopen my connect account, one of which is a hard copy of my SSC which is being sent to the wrong address because ssa.gov won't allow me to change it. I wonder if UI or connect will accept my letter of ordering a new SSC as a substitute. Additionally, I am concerned about receiving back pay for the time I was locked out of my account and believe I should be compensated for it.

Since May 1st, I have not received an unemployment check due to being locked out for identity verification. Despite completing a virtual appointment, I remained locked out. After lodging a complaint with the DEO, I had to provide my ID and social security card. Although my PIN number changed unexpectedly, I am owed unemployment benefits from May 1st till now. Unfortunately, I have lost my home and vehicles and now have COVID-19, forcing me to live on the streets. I have been unsuccessful in reaching anyone for three months. Struggling with Parkinson's limits my job options, and I urgently require assistance with resolving this issue, receiving overdue payments, finding shelter, and getting back on track. Contact me at [redacted]-[redacted]-45 14. Your prompt attention would be greatly appreciated.

My claim ID is [redacted], and I'm in need of assistance. My account was locked since March [redacted], only being unlocked 4 weeks ago. I was then able to claim the past 14 weeks, but received emails requiring me to show 5 job searches per week, which were not mandatory during those weeks. I'm at a loss as my claims are still on hold, demanding job searches for the past 14 weeks, totaling about 70 searches. I'm now facing eviction and must relocate to live with my elderly mother in Georgia. I feel overwhelmed and lost, having followed all the requirements. With my account being inaccessible for over 14 weeks, even after IDME intervention, I don't know what to do. I'm exhausted and desperately need guidance.

I have been waiting for my unemployment benefits for over 7 months now. The last payment I received was on January 31st. I recently received a letter confirming that all my submitted information is in order and I am eligible for benefits. However, when I tried to log into my online account a few weeks ago, I found that it was locked. I need assistance to unlock it so I can claim my weeks. I have already been told by supervisors that it would take 5 to 6 weeks, but that time has passed. I just want to follow up and ensure I receive the money owed to me. Please contact me at [redacted]. Thank you.

I'm having trouble uploading a photo of my ID to log into my Florida Unemployment account. I own a flip phone, and the pictures it takes are always blurry. I'm also struggling to attach a tiff file with my computer. Every time I attempt to do so, it prompts me to sign up for a costly yearly contract that I cannot afford. Could someone please assist me with this issue? I'm concerned about potentially losing out on the two weeks of benefits I wanted to claim, which are ending tomorrow. It's frustrating that it's so difficult to get in touch with someone for help. Thank you! -Robin

I am currently locked out of my account and have been unable to complete the verification process despite multiple attempts since July. I am struggling with my bills and need to access the funds owed to me. I would appreciate your assistance in moving forward to claim the missed weeks. Additionally, I have not received the back pay from last year despite contacting customer support numerous times. I have been advised to remain patient, but I would like to resolve this issue promptly.

I've been trying to reach customer service for weeks, but the phone system keeps cutting me off before I can talk to anyone. I couldn't log into Connect for 2 weeks, so I thought I needed to file a new claim. I ended up filing a duplicate claim identical to my original, and after 3 days, I could use my original pin. Now, one claim says pending Monetary Determination, while the other shows as active. I've submitted 8 weeks' worth of job reports and claims that are still not processed. A payment was processed on July 15, but I'm unsure how to proceed as the pending Monetary Determination has been unresolved for at least 5 weeks.

The instructions on ID.me advise taking a selfie photo, but the process actually involves a "biometric facial recognition scan." This distinction is crucial. I am uncomfortable with the idea of my biometric image being stored by the company for seven years as per their privacy policy, especially when they evade liability for any system breaches. While I don't mind taking a selfie, the lack of upfront disclosure regarding the biometric scan is concerning. It is frustrating that contacting their support requires being denied access three times. More people should raise objections to the mandatory biometric scan.

Connect has not listed my weeks to claim. They advised me that it needs to be fixed internally by one of their representatives. I hold a Connect Account with Claimant ID: [redacted] and a balance of $1,[redacted].00. Last week I claimed ended on 9/4/21, and a payment was issued on 9/17/21. Currently, my Connect account should display the week ending on September 11th and the following week ending on September 18th for me to claim. However, these two weeks have not been listed for me to claim, hindering me from entering my job search information. Due to the Connect system being down two weeks ago, I had to re-register through ID.me. Consequently, I claimed my last week on 9/16/21, even though the deadline to claim those weeks was 9/23/21. Thank you.

I have been trying to contact Florida unemployment regarding my retroactive back pay without success. Despite calling multiple times over the past year, they keep telling me to wait. My effective date is 3/31/20, clearly stated on my application, yet I have not received any payment. I filed on 8/9/[redacted], and I am frustrated by the lack of progress. I have spoken to representatives a few times, and they just ask me to be patient, assuring me that it's noted in the system. Sadly, after numerous attempts to reach someone, I have been unsuccessful, often facing disconnections. I simply seek my retroactive pay from March, a reasonable request that seems impossible to fulfill.

Dear Sir/Madam, I completed the ID verification through ID.ME to access unemployment benefits in North Carolina. However, I was informed that my information was used in Florida, which I did not authorize. I have not accessed any account in Florida. Name: A. Geiger SSN: [redacted]-78-[redacted] Email: [redacted] Phone: [redacted] If the individual claiming to be me is legitimate, they should provide their state number for verification. Please contact me via my personal phone number to discuss this matter. I kindly request that you expedite the investigation within the next 12 days. I was self-employed and receiving unemployment benefits until March [redacted] when I went through the Id.me security process. Since then, I haven't received any payments. I had trouble with the online system and may have mistakenly added extra jobs or employers to my claim. My work involves gig jobs and home visits, and I lost customers due to the lockdowns and COVID-19. I got an approval letter for PUA benefits from December [redacted] to September 4, [redacted], but there is now a monetary problem. I can't reach a live person for help, and my bills are overdue. I've been trying to find work and regain my customers, but everything feels hopeless. I made a mistake with my appeal for monetary eligibility due to confusion about the process. I need urgent assistance to review and fix the errors in my claim before I lose everything. Please contact me at [redacted] to provide guidance and support.

Hello, I am reaching out regarding my application for the PUA assistance program. On my CONNECT homepage, it displays a message stating: "Your claim has a pending issue awaiting an adjudication determination." Despite being eligible and active, this message has persisted for 2 months, preventing me from requesting benefits. Attempts to contact support by phone have been unsuccessful, prompting me to seek assistance via email. As I am currently unemployed and struggling to secure work, this situation is urgent. I kindly request guidance on any further steps required or an update on the status of my application. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Best regards, Nathan S.

In July [redacted], while awaiting my unemployment benefits back pay from June [redacted] to February [redacted] during my medical leave, my account was suddenly locked. I now face the challenge of catching up with my payments while dealing with the closure of my workplace. My account was recently reopened about three weeks ago, but I still encounter issues. Even though I am eligible based on documentation, my bank account remains stagnant. I am unable to claim any weeks, and essential features like registering my work search are missing from my dashboard. Contacting helplines has been unsuccessful, as no one has been reachable for the past few months, with calls getting redirected in a loop. The financial strain has prevented me from pursuing new job opportunities due to lack of funds. This situation is incredibly frustrating, and I am desperate for a resolution.

I am having difficulty accessing my unemployment account because I changed my phone number. Last week, I tried changing it through the automated service, but I am still being asked for a verification code from my old number which I no longer have. Today, I changed it again through the phone system. I would appreciate any guidance on how to resolve this issue as I cannot access my account to make changes. Thank you for your continuous hard work and assistance, it is truly appreciated. Best regards, Cameron Tink Daniel [redacted] *new number for reference*
