Hello, I recently lost my card, possibly leaving it in the ATM. I will check tomorrow morning. Unfortunately, I also lost my username and password to access my account. The last four digits of my card are [redacted]. I have multiple accounts due to previous issues with lost cards. I am trying to regain access to my account with the card ending in [redacted]. I am expecting a payment today, so resolving this is urgent. If the card is not in the ATM, then I have completely lost it. I attempted to create a Venmo account, but my phone number (which I've had for about 3 years with Straight Talk) has an email address attached to it that does not belong to me. After speaking with a Venmo representative, I was asked for proof of ownership of my prepaid Straight Talk service. Since there is no service contract, I'm unsure how to proceed. How can I verify that the number, ([redacted])-[redacted], belongs to me, Gina Baird, and should only be linked to my email [redacted]? This ongoing issue has been frustrating for over a year. Please investigate and advise on how to resolve this problem.

To Venmo, My name is Nancy Sheffner, my Venmo name is Nancy Sheffner@Nancy-Sheffner. I made two payments to Mariela-Zamora-4 but she claims she didn't receive them. I would like the money returned to my account, Nancy Sheffner@Nancy-Sheffner. Here are the details of the payments: 1) August 29, [redacted] - $75.00, ID# [redacted][redacted] 2) October 10, [redacted] - $[redacted].00, ID# [redacted][redacted]39 Both payments were marked "Status Complete." Mariela Zamora didn't receive the payments due to changes in her phone number. I accidentally sent her the October payment again through Venmo. I've reimbursed her directly, and I'm requesting Venmo to return the money to me. Please investigate this matter. Thank you.

Hello, today I opened a Venmo account and linked it to my Wells Fargo bank account. My sister, who also has a Venmo account, owed me money and tried to send it to me through Venmo. Despite her showing me proof on her phone that she initiated the transfer to my Venmo account, I did not receive the money. We encountered conflicting messages for about an hour, with my app indicating the issue was on Venmo's end. Trying to resolve the situation, she suggested I send the money back to her for her to resend. Upon checking my Wells Fargo banking app, I saw the pending transactions from her attempts. When I contacted Wells Fargo customer service, they confirmed the transactions. Feeling frustrated and confused, I sought assistance to resolve the matter promptly as I really need the money. My account has been suspended by Venmo due to suspected unauthorized activity, but I haven't engaged in any such behavior. When I tried to make a purchase, it was declined unexpectedly, and shortly thereafter, I received an email instructing me to retry the transaction for it to go through. This cycle repeated three times, resulting in my account being suspended for following Venmo's guidance. I find this situation unjust. Despite receiving an email a week ago claiming my account was reinstated, I still cannot access it. I urgently need the $[redacted] in my account for my current situation of homelessness.

I encountered an issue when trying to transfer funds from my Venmo account to my bank account and sending a Venmo payment. An error message simply stated that my account was locked. I believed I had opened a ticket after emailing last night to address the account lock. I would appreciate immediate assistance. I checked the bank account linked to my Venmo but found nothing suspicious that could have triggered the account lock. Although I have two mobile numbers, one of them has been in use for over a year without any problems. I recently purchased a new iPad Pro and added a new line, but I have attempted to log in from all three devices without success. The initial login attempt was made from my regular mobile device. Prompt assistance is crucial as I have items for sale that are being picked up, and I am unable to receive payments. With three teenagers, I depend on sending and transferring funds regularly. I have updated my phone number and debit card details, last 4 digits known but not disclosed for security. I suspect my wallet may have been left in a Lyft ride, reported lost/stolen, card deactivated, and replaced. As a result, I am unable to access my Venmo account. I received a notice on my Venmo app that states my account was suspended due to suspicious activity. I, L.B., made a mistake while transferring money to my debit card by accidentally choosing the standard transfer option instead of the instant transfer. I tried to reverse or cancel the transaction which may have triggered the account suspension. I am now unable to access the funds on my debit card and seek assistance on how to reinstate my account and retrieve my money.

I sold my PlayStation 5, games, and accessories on Facebook Marketplace for $1,[redacted]. The buyer paid me through Venmo, but encountered numerous issues. The buyer accidentally sent an extra $[redacted], claiming it was for a business account, unbeknownst to me. To rectify it, I purchased $40 in Google gift cards using borrowed money. Now, another $[redacted] was mistakenly charged to my account, and they're requesting more gift cards. I lack the additional funds. I complied with their requests, but they still haven't released my payment. I'm frustrated and just want what I'm owed so I can move on. I'll return the extra $[redacted] to the buyer, but I need the money that is rightfully mine.

Venom has frozen my account. I have followed all their requests and sent a copy of my ID. They mentioned it may take around two weeks to refund my $[redacted]. I loaded the money onto my debit card for a crucial payment, but now my car is at risk of being repossessed, especially during Christmas week. I believe I shouldn't have to plead for my funds. If my account was frozen, Venom should not have accepted the money in the first place.

Chime mistakenly deposited my direct deposits totaling $14,[redacted] from the Georgia Dept of Labor into an account not under my name. Despite filing disputes and taking other actions, Chime and GDOL are not taking responsibility. It has been over a year, and my family is in urgent need of the funds, especially during the pandemic. The unresolved issue even led to my car being repossessed. I feel trapped between Chime and GDOL, with no resolution in sight.

I recently discovered emails showing my roommate used my Direct Express card to link to her Venmo account while I was in TDCJ. Since my release, I learned that SSI overpaid me by almost $[redacted]. Now, almost half of my monthly payments are being garnished for the repayment. I found emails between my roommate and Venmo containing false information regarding transactions during the time I was incarcerated. I am planning to report this to SSI for fraud. I received money from an unfamiliar sender on Venmo, but it did not reflect in my account. I am unsure how to send money back to them as my Venmo app does not display my friends list. When setting up my new account, I accidentally used my social security number instead of my boyfriend's when ordering a debit card. Upon realizing my mistake, I tried to correct it but was unable to do so. I was informed that the identity verification process would take 2-3 days. To provide additional information, I updated the account details with my own information and added verified debit cards and bank accounts. Unfortunately, my account was subsequently frozen after waiting for some time.

I have been using Venmo to send money to my children. On January 27, [redacted], I sent $[redacted] to one child and various smaller amounts to others totaling approximately $[redacted]. Additionally, I attempted to send $[redacted] to @Jonathan-Dorny but was prompted to verify my bank with the promise of two small deposits, which never arrived. On January 28, I made more transfers totaling $[redacted] to my children. Despite multiple attempts to send $[redacted] to @Jonathan-Dorny and @Alexis-Dorny, following the bank's verification steps, I received error messages each time. I contacted Venmo about this issue, but I cannot find any record of our correspondence. My bank verified that a $1 test transfer to @Jonathan-Dorny was successful, yet the $[redacted] transfer continues to fail without any rejection on the bank's end. It's been over a month since Venmo blocked my account and froze my money, leaving me unable to access it. I have been trying to resolve this issue by calling customer service, but they do not answer. I feel like I have been robbed by my own bank. I have been let down with all my payments, and every time I call, I cannot get through. When I do, they only speak in English, which I do not understand. All I want is to get my money back, and I will never use this bank again or recommend it to anyone. If I don't get my money back, I am considering legal action for theft, fraud, negligence, poor customer service, and being responsible for all the delays in my payments.

On March 7, at 11:01, my Venmo account was used at CVS in Franklin, NH. At 11:13, my account was used again with an instant transfer to a Mastercard debit card ending in [redacted], totaling $[redacted]. The last time I had access to my account was on March 6 when I received a $50 transfer from Whit Dennis from Texas, bringing my total to $[redacted]. On March 6, I realized that my device was missing, and I had no way to access my email. A friend helped me contact Venmo where I provided the proper ID information to verify my account ownership. That's when I discovered about unauthorized purchases on my account for $1.79. Shortly after, someone attempted to withdraw $[redacted].80 via wire transfer to a Mastercard debit card ending in [redacted]. I do not recognize this transaction or the recipient. What are the next steps I should take?

There was an unexpected transaction in both my bank account and Venmo. The bank requested IDs I didn't have, causing a refund request. Venmo then suspended my account. After canceling my card with the bank, they issued a new one that I added to Venmo. I submitted identification documents and a photo as requested, but my account remains inactive. It's been a week of dealing with this issue, and my funds are now stuck in Venmo. I urgently need to resolve this to access my money for basic expenses.
