My apple id has been deactivated. The reason is described as a backcharge. However this is not exactly the case. In actuality it's the result of a maxed out credit card. I made an in app purchase for around * or * dollars. It was accepted so I was unaware that later there would be a discrepancy. So apparently the charge was attempted and rejected numerous times resulting in a permanent deactivation of my account. Now I am unavailable to access or retrieve any of my many purchases etc. Movies, music, updates etc. That must add up to several thousand dollars. This is absolutely not right and an abuse of power. If I'm required to create a new apple id fine, but to deny me the ability to transfer all my purchases at retail over to the new I'd is immoral, unethical, and blatant theft. There has to be some kind of amicable resolution.
