Dear Customer Service, My late husband, David A. Powell, was your client. Unfortunately, he passed away in November [redacted]. Recently, I discovered an automatic renewal payment for Evernote on his credit card ending in [redacted], charged in July or August [redacted]. The payment was approximately $70. Subject: Update Request for G2F Household Account by Glenn F. Regarding my G2F Household Account under owner Glenn Flock, I am experiencing issues with access since Google discontinued all "[redacted]" email addresses upon transitioning to a paid model. I have updated my "private" password at Google and wish to switch the account to "[redacted]" for continued use. Due to the inactive status of the previous email "[redacted]," I am unable to login to Evernote. Kindly update the login information to reflect the new email address "[redacted]" to facilitate logins via Google account and set up a new password at Evernote. Furthermore, I request the closure of my two other accounts, with a PRO account among them. I would appreciate transferring the PRO plan to my G2F Household account, as I am currently subscribed to and paying for the PRO plan on one of the other accounts. Thank you for your assistance. Best regards, Glenn F.

Today, on September 24, [redacted], I was charged $69 for a subscription to Evernote, a service I've never used or intentionally signed up for. The charge appears to be an automatic renewal, which I never authorized. Despite claiming to have a customer service number, they were unable to connect through my laptop microphone as requested. I found they stored my middle and last name combination without a standard password, requiring only a 2FA authentication process for cancellation. I provided all necessary information on their cancellation screen within the required timeline, although it felt like a hassle due to their lack of user-friendliness. While currently traveling, I'll leave my email for further communication. Thank you for any help in resolving this matter.

I previously had 2 Evernote accounts. The one I currently use is on my iMac and is functioning well. However, I am encountering difficulties transferring this account to my new iMac Pro. The deleted version is displayed as the primary address with the new active version listed below. This setup is causing issues such as notes being unintentionally deleted while I am working on them. I would like to know why I am unable to start fresh on my iPad Pro by only installing my active personal account, similar to how it is on my iMac. When I followed the expert's advice to sign out and add the old account, I lost all my notes and the app was empty. On the other hand, signing out and adding the new personal account brought back the notes but they remain under the old account as the main title. I have been syncing the notes for over 12 hours, so I haven't thoroughly tested the new setup, but I am concerned that the previous issues will reoccur. H. Berlet

I have been a Personal service customer for many years, successfully running it on an iMac using Ventura 13.0. Now, I am trying to transfer the app to a new iPad Pro with software version 16.1. However, an old Evernote deleted account keeps popping up as the main account, causing issues like losing text when writing notes. My main problem is removing the old deleted account from my iPad Pro so that I can install the new active Personal subscription. I have tried signing out and adding the old account based on expert advice, but it resulted in losing all content. I then signed out again and added the new active Personal account, which brought back the notes but still displays the old account's title. I have been syncing the content for 13 hours now and need help clearing the old account from the system and installing my active Personal service account on my iPad Pro. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I previously had a positive experience with Evernote's direct service. Attempts to resolve this issue with Just Answer have been unsuccessful. Best, Hugo B.

I am looking to cancel my subscription due to dissatisfaction with the service. Despite experiencing the free trial, I did not find it enjoyable. I am currently unable to afford the service. I am disappointed by the difficulty encountered while attempting to cancel. This experience has left me with a negative impression and I will not be using this service in the future. I am considering writing a consumer review to share my experience. It is frustrating to be required to provide [redacted] characters to express my concerns.

I am considering renewing my Personal subscription with the 50% off promotion. However, I encountered an error message indicating that I cannot renew because I pay through iTunes. Can you provide information on the price and steps to rectify this issue? My current subscription is set to end on 2/1/23. Thank you and Happy New Year! Billing History: Your Evernote Personal subscription will expire on February 1, [redacted], and will not renew. Following that date, your account level will be reverted to Evernote Free. I am facing issues with the Evernote app due to their recent programming change. I have three devices on a personal plan, but only two are active. Despite not having exceeded the two-device limit, I am constantly prompted to unsync a device, which I have not done twice in a month as claimed. Deleting the app from the third unused device did not resolve the problem. Unfortunately, I cannot contact customer support due to this issue, creating a frustrating loop that prevents me from using the app as intended. The recent changes to monetize the app for users with more than two active devices seem to have caused this problem. It is disappointing that the app is restricting access to my data without a viable solution or support system in place to address these issues.

I have been receiving emails from <[redacted]> informing me that an attempt to access my Evernote account from Vietnam has been made and advising me to change my password. The email contains details of the new login such as the date, time, location (Ha Tinh, Vietnam), IP address ([redacted].4.[redacted].68), and device/browser used (Windows/Chrome). The email suggests actions to take if I do not recognize the login, including changing my password, reviewing and revoking access for unknown devices, and setting up two-step verification for added security. It also provides links to Evernote's security settings and advises me to learn more about dealing with suspicious activity on their website. The email concludes by explaining that such notifications are sent to ensure the security of my account.

Subject: Unauthorized Login Attempts on Evernote Hello, I am writing to report unauthorized login attempts on my Evernote account. I do not have this application on my cellphone, yet I have been receiving emails asking me to verify my account. Early this morning, I received another email notification about a new login from Spain, while I am located in South Africa. This occurred around 1:00 a.m. I kindly request that you either remove or restrict access to my email account on Evernote, as I do not use the platform and am concerned about the security of my personal information. My email address is gabbyfourie2000[at]gmail.com. Thank you for your assistance. Sincerely, Gabriella F.

On March 5th, I encountered an issue with an upgrade advertisement on my Evernote app that prevented me from declining the offer. Unfortunately, I couldn't remove the ad and it resulted in me being locked out of all my Evernote files. In order to access my files, I had to accept the upgrade. I have since backed up all my files and uninstalled Evernote from all my devices. I kindly request a refund for any charges incurred due to the upgrade. Thank you, William B. I haven't used Evernote in years and was surprised to see charges on my business account, as I'm now 79 and mostly retired. There was an overdraft due to a $69.99 deduction from my account, along with a $10 fee. I request a reversal of this transaction and the cancellation of my account. I have switched to using Google App's "Keep" for my needs and no longer use my old iMac, now using Chromebooks and Windows computers. Thank you.

I am currently attempting to upgrade my Evernote plan from free to personal. I have attempted to use three different credit cards, but each time I received a message indicating that the card was not accepted. I contacted my bank, but they do not see any record of the upgrade charge. I am feeling frustrated as I rely heavily on the information stored in Evernote, but currently, I am unable to access it on any of my devices. When I try to log in, I am immediately prompted to upgrade my plan. Unfortunately, I am facing difficulties as my credit cards are not getting accepted for the upgrade process. Any assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support. -- P. Seelos

I am encountering an issue with the app as it displays an error message stating “latest changes will not sync. Account has reached its limit,” a message not seen when logging in through the website on a computer. Even after deleting notes on the computer site, the problem persists despite reinstalling the app on my phone. How can I resolve this issue? I would like to understand why the notes I deleted are not syncing. Do different limits apply between the website and the app? Additionally, how can I locate the trash folder where deleted notes are stored? When deleting notes, I could access the trash, but am now unable to find the trash icon. Thank you for your assistance!

I signed up for the free Evernote plan at the beginning of the year (free version only) through the website by clicking on free and then being redirected to the App Store. I noticed that Evernote started charging me $8.99 monthly in February, which I thought was unauthorized. After contacting Apple Support, they explained that I had actually signed up for a "free trial" of the personal plan, priced at $14.99 on the Evernote website. There seems to be a mix-up as there was no $8.99 free trial plan mentioned anywhere. Apple and I reviewed the details and found discrepancies. They advised me to take screenshots, which I have done. Apple helped me cancel the subscription, leaving me unable to reach out to Evernote directly. Please get in touch with me to resolve this issue. - RaChel P. [redacted]

I need help reverting my note to a previous state. I accidentally overwrote it and lost half of the content. I need to go back to that earlier version. I attempted to check the note history, but it prompted me to upgrade my account. Upon trying to upgrade, I was informed I needed to do it from an iOS device. I switched to an iOS device for the upgrade, but unfortunately, I encountered an error message saying upgrades were not possible at the moment, suggesting I try again later. How can I access the previous version of my note?

I received a notification last month that my account would renew automatically. I didn't want the $[redacted] renewal, so I downgraded the level to a personal account, expecting a charge of around $69. However, my old credit card was charged the full amount of a more expensive subscription yesterday. I urgently need a refund for the overcharge, or I would like to cancel my account altogether. I am frustrated that I cannot speak to a live representative. The service and support have been extremely disappointing.

I followed your recommendation to update my Evernote app. However, after doing so, I encountered difficulties in accessing my account. In order to complete my work, I had to reset my password a total of 21 times. Even when trying to return to my Evernote notebook, another password reset was necessary. Now, I am currently unable to access my account. I would appreciate being able to utilize one of the secure passwords recommended and have it consistently work without issues. This recent experience has been quite frustrating for me. I found the previous version of Evernote to be more user-friendly and suited to my needs. If the issues with this updated version cannot be resolved, I would like to inquire about the possibility of cancelling my subscription and receiving a refund. This situation has caused embarrassment with my vendors, and I feel quite frustrated. I apologize for any inconvenience caused, and I appreciate any assistance you can offer. If a resolution is not possible, I kindly request that my subscription be cancelled and a refund issued. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I need to access my Evernote account where I keep all my school notes. I originally signed up with an old school email address about 6 years ago, but I no longer have access to it as I've graduated. Evernote is prompting me to reset my password, but it's sending the reset emails to the old address. I am unable to login because of this issue, so I kindly request assistance to change my email address associated with the account so that I can regain access to my notes. Thank you.

I previously had two Evernote accounts linked to one Apple ID. One account was paying through iTunes and the other with a credit card. One user now has their own Apple ID, and we need to switch the payment method for their Evernote account from the other user's iTunes to their own Apple ID. How can we identify which Evernote account is connected to the iTunes payment? Your help in resolving this promptly is appreciated.
